10/03/2026: The cooks are much better at cooking than reading. (Beware of allergies). Expect something to be missing from your plate. With cutlery, the food is perfectly edible, but you just have to ask for it. Then napkins. Then salt. Then pepper. Then a carafe of water. Then glasses of water. Perhaps a little bread? The bill is rather steep for a restaurant with no table service, but hey, it's still good. \__0__/

21/03/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was refused entry with a stroller, which is already difficult to understand. But what's even more frustrating is that I was told everything was reserved, when it seemed obvious the problem was with the stroller. I find this regrettable, especially for families with children. A little more transparency and a warmer welcome would be greatly appreciated. I do not recommend this establishment to people with young children.

08/04/2026: It was closed even though Google Maps said it was open. “We came specifically following the Google Maps opening hours, which indicated it was open, but the restaurant was closed. We came with small children and it was quite inconvenient after walking more than 500 m. It would be important to keep the opening hours updated to avoid situations like this.”

18/02/2026: The waitress was smiling and lovely, and she gave us excellent recommendations for the Montagnard burgers with smoked raclette cheese and mountain ham, served with fries and homemade ketchup. The service was quick, and the appetizer and dessert buffets offered half a dozen options—not many, but homemade and, most importantly, delicious! I highly recommend it!

26/03/2026: Passing through Cannes, I was looking for a reasonably priced salad. I was delighted; the welcome was warm and friendly. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the salad was prepared to order, so adjustments were possible. A real treat! And the portion was very generous, excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

17/01/2026: The room was adequate but without air conditioning. The host, upon showing me in, said, "You'll see, it's not too hot, it'll be fine"... So, you have to choose between sleeping naked, sweating, and with a blazing electric fan; or opening the window with a room right next to the street and the surrounding noise. As for breakfast, no comment... Regarding the service: I requested an invoice on December 29th and still hadn't received it by January 17th. First and last time. It's nice to support independent businesses, but in terms of quality/price ratio...

12/10/2025: Nice place to have a drink on the Rhône, both for the setting and the welcome from the team. The price of the drinks is reasonable and the portion of fries for 5 euros is very, very generous and of good quality (rather rare).

24/12/2025: I travel a lot, and I have to say that after going there so often (4 or 5 times a year), this bar has become my favorite in France. Each time, I can treat myself to a break on the terrace. The atmosphere, the setting, the Upper Town and its characters. They undoubtedly make the best Irish coffee in the country. Kudos to the whole team for their warm welcome every time I visit.

20/03/2026: We arrived as a party of six, yet we were seated immediately without any wait. A welcome salad was served directly by Stanislas. The entire meal went extremely well, with an attentive waiter. The only slight issue was the meat wasn't cooked as requested, but after asking for it to be cooked again, it was perfect. It had been a while since we'd been there because I'd been disappointed the previous time, but I was delighted once again and I'm looking forward to another meal at Buffalo Grill with Stanislas as our waiter.
