29/05/2026: A nice, casual brasserie just across the border in France. We dined here on a summer evening on the cozy garden terrace at the back. The staff is friendly, but they only speak French. And that is a bit of a downside, especially considering you are just across the border. Belgium is a stone's throw away. You would expect them to know Flemish, wouldn't you? Or otherwise English. The food is delicious. The menu is what you would expect from a brasserie.

29/05/2026: We were a bit worried it was closed, but luckily everyone was sitting in the back garden. We were warmly welcomed and well taken care of. A real gem.

04/05/2026: We shared a "Fattoria" pizza (provola, parmesan, gorgonzola, and mozzarella) and a delicious, lightly sweetened tiramisu. The pizza dough was excellent, soft and light; we experienced something sublime.

04/06/2026: Lunch alone: ​​a BBQ burger, a small mixed salad, and a chocolate fondant. Everything was very good, quite filling, and served quickly. For 16 euros, it's very good.

22/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise and a random visit in an area which is not super touristy and it is very calm and relaxing. Café latte was excellent, reasonably priced. Cinnamon roll wonderful and pretty affordable. They have very good choice of kombucha but these are a bit overpriced. Service and atmosphere were wonderful, but I had to take one star because of the toilets. Unfortunately they were not very clean (for which in the first place I am blaming the guests, but I wish staff checked it after the rush hour). Also, there's no hook for clothes or bag and the tap is barely working. Water is flowing in a weird angle and it's almost impossible to wash your hands without touching it or the sink. I hope this will be fixed in the future.

22/05/2026: We decided to stop at this restaurant in the early evening and received a very warm welcome. The waiter was excellent, nothing to complain about. The menu included a starter, main course, and dessert, all beautifully presented and reasonably priced. We will definitely return and highly recommend it. Keep up the good work!

The waiter was kind, friendly, attentive, and very professional, which made our evening even better! We had a wonderful meal (and drinks)! I highly recommend it. 15/05/2026: Waiter in a tracksuit, bizarre response when asking for red wine (“the staff drank it all”), loud music, and staff shouting amongst themselves. An awkward and unprofessional atmosphere, however, the food was quite okay.
