07/06/2026: I ate at this little restaurant. It's cozy and has a cave-like feel. The €20 set menu is inexpensive and generous: starter, main course, and dessert. Two nice slices of smoked salmon with salad. A very flavorful roasted Camembert. With potatoes, salad, and fried onions. And a chocolate fondant with whipped cream. I was very satisfied; it was delicious.

07/05/2026: The pizzas aren't as good as they used to be, but there are other dishes on the menu, including some with dry-aged beef. The sauces are decent, and so are the fries. We can't really comment on the mashed potatoes because despite ordering them, we ended up with fries instead… And the wait for the main courses was so long (45 minutes) that we didn't dare order again. The same goes for the steak we ordered rare, which arrived medium-rare. However, there are some areas for improvement that bring the overall rating down a bit: the dining room is very noisy, the service is extremely slow (both taking the order and the arrival of the food), and the waiter casually helps himself to fries from some customers' already-set plates and carries them to their tables… (not very hygienic).

16/03/2026: Honestly, everything was perfect, exactly as I'd hoped. From the careful planning of the event (a birthday party with 40 people) to the execution itself. No fuss, everything was simple and seamless. Julie is extremely friendly, very attentive and responsive, and the staff was "perfect." My guests also showered them with stars, highlighting the precision of the cuisine and the cooking. We were in a very bright room, overlooking a terrace at the top of the Rosny golf course. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories, like Proust's madeleine ("remember C's 70th birthday?" it was superb). As you can tell, I highly recommend it. Best of luck to Birdie, I'll be back.

02/06/2026: Very disappointed by the Mother's Day special menu. It wasn't bad, it was simply classic and lacked any real excitement. The chef usually has a knack for combining flavors and tastes, and always adds a little something extra to make it stand out! But this time, there was nothing... even the lemon balm had vanished from the tiramisu! The beef tataki wasn't seared, just drizzled with soy sauce, and the peach cream was bland, but perhaps that was the intention for an older clientele! I have no idea where the extra 6 euros on the regular menu went! Far too expensive for what was offered! The young waiter was pleasant and friendly with the customers, but the same cannot be said for the owner, who gave us a lecture on "how to live with the sun and the shade," and by moving our tables, we made it clear that we were boring her... and I'm being polite!

08/05/2026: We were visiting Strasbourg from Canada. La Corde a Linge was recommended to us by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! We had a lovely table outside, good food, friendly service, in a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

07/05/2026: A lovely restaurant in the heart of Petite France, and what a view! Great outdoor setting although if you don't like people smoking while you eat you will need to be strategic as to where you sit. The service was exceptional even though restaurant was super busy. Food was delicious. I expected based on location that food would be typical tourist offers (of which they had a small selection of burgers for those who must) but they had lots of traditional dishes on offer and they readily customised to suit my preferences. Very relaxed... staff will let you linger and enjoy your food and beverage at leisurely pace. Highly recommend!
