06/09/2026: We had wonderful memories of our visit to Chalet de Beauregard three years ago… we were really looking forward to returning to this magnificent place and enjoying the excellent cuisine of the restaurant… we booked a table for Saturday, September 5th at 12:15 pm… the reservation was confirmed by phone… we arrived at 6:00 am with four friends from Alsace after a 1.5-hour drive and a final trek on the disastrous road leading to the mountain restaurant, only to find… the doors locked… the restaurant closed! Anger and frustration ensued! We had even given our mobile number to the woman on the phone… the least they could have done was let us know… we wouldn't have driven three hours for nothing… luckily we found a nice little restaurant on our way back down via the Col de l'Attrape… We felt it was important to express our anger at this blatant lack of professionalism… and prefer to cherish the wonderful memory of 2023 at this ideally located establishment… you won't be seeing us again.

06/10/2026: Impeccable service, the option to share a starter into two plates was a lovely touch, and the staff were pleasant, smiling, and attentive. One of our favorite spots in Nancy.

18/09/2026: Interesting, modern creations that could use a bit more seasoning. The ling fillet was cooked to perfection, the variety of side dishes was excellent, and the portions were generous.

12/09/2026: We stayed at the Lauryvan bed and breakfast and dined every evening at the bistro and Saturday lunchtime at the gourmet restaurant located 50 meters away. The welcome and service were truly perfect; the manager and team were always smiling and attentive to their guests. The food was delicious, as were the wines, with beautiful presentation on both sides. The outdoor setting is fantastic, calm and relaxing for those lucky enough to be there during peak season. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back soon. Thank you, Laurent and your team.

16/10/2026: I wish I could have reviewed this restaurant last night. A young blonde woman told us, "We're the best, you're going to have a great time." The tables were packed, but not everyone was being served. The neighbors were complaining about the slowness and disorganization. The response I heard was, "I don't have time to pamper my customers, you see how busy it is." We waited 45 minutes, no water, no orders. Another couple was getting impatient. A waitress was seating people at tables that hadn't been cleared... another table was set up... we didn't really understand... I counted 50 customers for one waitress, the other was taking the cash register and serving a few coffees. There were two of them for 50... we remained patient, she was running around (too much... forgetting, not respecting anyone)... and then... She serves the first table that arrived after us… then a second… that’s enough… I won’t taste your food… and it’s fine, you prefer to fill up and serve badly, that’s your problem… we point it out to her and leave: sorry, I didn’t mean to… I also didn’t mean to leave a rating that reflects your contempt. I can’t wait to come back in 5 years :-) I’ll be back! Go get some training!

23/09/2026: If you go on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday, especially Monday, there are usually plenty of seats. The space is still small, but you eat less cramped than before, which is quite pleasant for customers. As for the food, apart from the fish and rice, many items are frozen. Nothing exceptional. Fortunately, the Asian decor is quite well done. Regarding hygiene, it might not be perfect, but I've seen worse in China. In short: average. Nice decor, average service. The staff are friendly, but as soon as you make a small request, their tone changes quickly… Very Japanese, ultimately. I just hope they improve in the future.

01/10/2026: This was our first visit to Gu, and we really enjoyed the food and its presentation. The tartare and the terrine starters were delicious, as was the croustillant de porc, and the minestrone of fruit with sorbet for dessert. We hope to return.

19/09/2026: This is a family-run restaurant owned by two brothers. One is the waiter and the other is the chef. The service is impeccable, and the chef is incredible; the food is truly delicious, flavorful, and generous. Give it a try, because this restaurant is amazing.
