31/05/2026: While the starter, a refreshing salad, was a nice touch, the main course (sirloin steak with fries and blue cheese sauce) reminded me of school cafeteria food. We had a very friendly young waiter before encountering a woman at the register who insisted we split the bill because she didn't know what we had ordered individually! I found it far too expensive for what I consumed. The terrace was pleasant and quiet with a view of the Dordogne River.

24/04/2026: The waitress was really very kind and pleasant, no complaints there 👍 However, the food was a huge disappointment… My daughter's Milanese cutlet was so overcooked it looked like a shoe sole 😅 impossible to eat, she barely touched it. My ribeye steak was also a bit overcooked, well… that can happen, but it adds to the overall problem. I had asked for my dish without a green salad, and in the end, everything arrived mixed together on the plate… As a result, the dressing ended up everywhere, in the fries and on the meat 😕 not very pleasant. I was offered a gorgonzola sauce, which I accepted, but they didn't mention the €2 surcharge… a bit of a surprise when the bill arrived. For desserts, the menu was "currently being updated," so they only mentioned them verbally without prices. We ordered a chocolate praline mousse: very dense, too sweet, not at all airy… my daughter barely ate any either. And it was at the till that we discovered the truth: €9 for the mousse 😲 without the price being mentioned… When I expressed my surprise, the owner told me I should have asked the waitress for the price… 🤨 Except that the law requires prices to be clearly displayed before ordering; it's not up to the customer to guess. In short, friendly service, but a lot of things need improvement in the kitchen, and especially regarding price transparency. Over €75 for this lunch for just my daughter and me is really very expensive for the little she got to eat.

06/06/2026: The lunch menu and its excellent value for money provide a true introduction to the cuisine of chef Fabrice Bonnot. The dishes are carefully prepared and showcase the quality of the ingredients. The service is impeccable and very welcoming.

04/06/2026: I've already had the chance to eat there twice, and I've never been so impressed by a restaurant. Usually, when you walk into a restaurant, you feel a kind of pressure, but this one... the atmosphere is pleasant, the food is... wow, exceptional! And I'm a picky eater.

We did lunch and dinner there and were hugely impressed. Incredible plates of food, the restaurant team seemed to work well together, excellent from start to finish.

15/03/2026: The place is cozy, simple, and tasteful. You feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. Not too many tables, so plenty of space between them—ah… a meal without the chatter of your neighbors! The welcome is warm and friendly; no stern-faced "Madame" here, just smiles and courtesy. As for the meal, we chose the set menu of starter, fish, meat, and dessert, but just reading the menu makes you want to come back. Served on beautiful plates, we were delighted to rediscover the true taste of food. Excellent ingredients are prepared right in front of you if you glance behind the counter. A touch of refined subtlety enhances the dish without overpowering it—it's perfect. At this price, the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. See you very soon!

We had a wonderful meal for the unbeatable price of €30, including a starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and a traditional Norman apple tart (trou normand) between courses. The welcome and service were impeccable, and the dining room was lovely. A place to remember, and we will gladly return.

08/06/2026: Not great. They don't always wash their hands after taking your payment and before serving you... now they offer to make your sandwich with chicken for the same price. They're taking advantage: Chicken is €6 per kilo, lamb is €22 per kilo
