The only place in the world where you can eat pig's ears and find them delicious... even if you're usually put off by that sort of thing. Everything is so perfectly seasoned, cooked, and roasted. The wine is inexpensive and good. In short, fantastic.

16/08/2026: We weren't familiar with this caterer. The waiter (who was there around 6:30 pm on August 15th) gave us a very pleasant welcome and told us about Monsieur Pignol's story. He also went out of his way to prepare a bag of ice for us. We enjoyed the chicken burger and the Lyon salad (both made with high-quality ingredients). The tiramisu and lemon meringue tart were excellent desserts. Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

07/09/2026: The service was very pleasant; Mamadou was very attentive. The place was really lovely. The food was... good. For starters, we had the fresh combo. We were expecting pita bread as advertised on the menu, but we received tortilla chips under five pita breads. My scorpionfish was cooked well but tasteless, as were my side dishes, except for the onion. The dessert was satisfactory. For the price, I expected better.

04/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. The setting is superb, with a particularly pleasant terrace, ample space between tables, and lovely decor. The food is a real success: refined, seasonal cuisine, beautifully presented, with perfectly portioned dishes. Special mention goes to the "Strawberry Field" dessert: a crispy base, white chocolate emulsion, and strawberry sorbet. Light, fresh, and indulgent, without being overly sweet. A true triumph. The service was also excellent: the staff was friendly, efficient, and quick. The only slight drawback: €6 for an espresso and €8 for a long black... that's a bit steep.

18/08/2026: We arrived without a reservation and received a very warm welcome. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, like we were at home. It had a very family-like feel. Everything was homemade, which made the pizza the best in the world. It was indeed incredible; the sourdough crust was light, and the homemade toppings were also excellent. The pizza is called Pizz'and Love, and I highly recommend it. The goat cheese and honey pizza with hazelnuts is the best pizza in the world, a perfect 1000 out of 10. And the desserts are also the best in the world. Passing through the village of Thoard, I hope we'll have the opportunity to return and enjoy your delicious pizzas and excellent desserts. 27/09/2026: I learned in this restaurant that a "Breton sausage crêpe" is a crêpe with a sausage (and nothing else inside) 😆. Of course, there are more substantial crêpes on the menu, but it still feels a bit odd. Apparently, that's how it's done in Brittany. So we all ordered a second one... average price €7. Otherwise, the staff were pleasant, the premises were rather cramped, making it a bit noisy, but the atmosphere was rustic and friendly.

14/10/2026: So when something's good, you have to say so, and maybe even shout it from the rooftops! A delicious lunch: starter, main course, and dessert, all homemade with fresh ingredients, prepared by a real chef. Real flavors, real ingredients, designed and cooked on-site for a very low price, with friendly service and a smile. It might seem obvious, as a salesperson by trade, but this kind of place offering such quality at this price... is becoming very rare! Which is why you absolutely must go to this restaurant. Locals, vacationers, business travelers, and those on a date, ladies and gentlemen, go and enjoy some truly excellent food. Your taste buds will thank you. Thank you to the owner and his team.
