16/06/2026: Delighted with my meal experience with colleagues. The waitress was very friendly. The only slight issue was that some of my colleagues found the dish "a little too salty" for their taste; our meals were different... but nothing too serious. They mentioned it to the waitress, who kindly offered us a small limoncello. We found this very professional and, above all, customer-friendly. We will definitely return and highly recommend it!

28/07/2026: I love Subway, I go there regularly, but last night I ordered a sandwich and half the ingredients I wanted were missing, even though I arrived an hour and a half before closing time… And the ingredients that were in the sandwich were in very small quantities compared to all the other times I've been, so I was disappointed, very disappointed… and the service needs improvement… several things were forgotten.

23/08/2026: Food Disappointing I had dinner at Le Carpe Diem with my girlfriend this evening and unfortunately have a few complaints. First, the positives. The staff was very friendly and, despite our limited French, communicated very well with us in English. We arrived quite early and were immediately given a table outside the restaurant, even without a reservation. A small cheese pastry, which was delicious, accompanied our drinks. The food arrived very quickly. However, the food itself left much to be desired. I ordered the Burgundy menu with the poached eggs in crème d'époisses, the beef bourguignon, and the tarte tatin, while my girlfriend ordered the fish of the day. The poached eggs and the crème were okay in terms of taste, but the eggs were slightly undercooked and still had a bit of runny egg white, and the crème was very thin. The presentation was rather uninspired, consisting of two eggs in white cream with a sprinkle of pepper. The accompanying baguette wasn't freshly sliced, resulting in dried-out edges. Unfortunately, the main course only reinforced this initial impression. While the beef was very flavorful and extremely tender, the sauce was again very runny (this may well be intentional; I'm not familiar with the dish, but I would have preferred a thicker consistency). However, the main criticism of the main course was the accompanying side dishes. The plate contained a small mound of extremely overcooked cauliflower, almost mushy, and potato wedges, which I'm fairly certain were mass-produced frozen potatoes. The same dry bread was served with these as well. In my opinion, the portion size of the main course was far too small to be satisfying, and the presentation left much to be desired. From the photos in other Google reviews, I can see that this dish was once presented much more elegantly and served with a purée. Why they would deviate from this version is completely beyond me. The dessert didn't salvage the overall experience either. The pears on the tarte tatin weren't caramelized at all, as is usually the case with this dish. Furthermore, the pastry underneath was mostly soggy and slightly burnt. My girlfriend's fish also fell far short of expectations. When we ordered, we were told that the fish would be cold, which led us to believe it might be some kind of tartar or something similar. However, when the food arrived, it turned out that this was a misinterpretation on our part, and they meant that the fish was frozen, not fresh. Unfortunately, it was rather dry and tough. It was served with frozen wedges and very mushy cauliflower. The portion was very small again, which is why my girlfriend had to get something else afterward. Furthermore, I ordered a Coca-Cola Zero, which was advertised on the menu as a 0.5l can for €4.40. However, I only received a 0.33l can, but according to the bill, I paid full price. All in all, I'm disappointed with the experience. While the staff was very friendly and helpful, I think more emphasis should be placed on high-quality and tasty food. The plates looked carelessly presented and, unfortunately, the food wasn't entirely convincing in terms of taste.

08/07/2026: To be honest, this is an authentic Japanese restaurant. However, I was disappointed on several points. First, there was no clear sign to distinguish vegetarian dishes from non-vegetarian ones. Second, the prices were excessively high. Only 24 euros for a dish that contains no meat and isn't particularly impressive. Third, the yam was tasteless. It added no value whatsoever. And finally, the portions were ridiculously small. An appetizer with eggplant, or even the main course itself, was far too small. Nothing like the usual Japanese portion sizes. Especially since the dessert wasn't very appealing... Nevertheless, we received a very warm welcome. The staff is Japanese. It's a place to eat cold food. I don't think I would recommend this place. It's well located, but I think that at that price, you should leave with a full stomach and a mouthful of flavor. Even if the welcome is good, unfortunately that's not everything.

03/07/2026: A very solid spot for soba just a short walk from Paris’s Japanese quarter. The noodles weren’t quite outstanding on my visit—they were slightly overcooked and lacked some of the firm texture I look for in good soba—but they still made for a very satisfying ten zaru soba, especially on a warm summer’s day. Be sure to ask for the sobayu (the water used to cook the noodles) at the end of your meal and mix it with the remaining dipping sauce. It’s a traditional way to finish a soba meal, creating a light, comforting broth that’s as enjoyable as the noodles themselves. Add to that the pleasant interior and attentive service, and it’s an easy place to recommend.

22/07/2026: We very much enjoyed lunch at L'Equisse. We had, respectively, the three and four course set menus for midweek lunch, which are good value. Rather oddly, you're not told what the courses actually are until they arrive, though you can choose meat or fish, and they screen rigourously for allergies. The food was tasty, fresh, and made inventive use of seasonal ingredients. There's a good, very affordable list of aperitifs and wines. Service is friendly and prompt and staff speak English. We found the three course menu was pretty filling when you factor in the pre and post meal amuses bouches; I'm not sure we could have handled the six course menu, let alone the nine (from fellow diners it didn't seem like the course sizes were reduced in any way). The only slight let down was the very hushed atmosphere, a bit like eating in a library. Good for a very quiet intimate conversation, but not very lively or convivial. Still, the food and service would certainly draw us back.

10/07/2026: We visited this place on a whim and were so surprised by the quality of the food, how beautiful and clean the area was and Lili had amazing service she sang whilst she worked , and we both had the rougail saucisse it was so fresh and the quality was amazing and she offered us her homemade mango lemon spice to add and it was amazing ! And to top it all off we had the passion coconut ice cream for dessert , the quality of the homemade cocounut ice cream was one of a kind so refreshing and delicious. I highly recommend if you want a taste of reunion island and also amazing ice cream !!!!

31/05/2026: A wonderful experience at the Mauritian restaurant Kass Poz today, which I had the pleasure of discovering with my family. My wife is originally from Mauritius, so we were pleasantly surprised to find all the authenticity and charm of Mauritian cuisine here. The dishes are truly delicious and faithful to tradition, right down to the homemade noodles, which makes the experience even more authentic. You really feel like you've been transported directly to Port Louis, as if you've stepped into the atmosphere of the local market. The food is excellent, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with a genuine appreciation for homemade food and sharing. Thank you for this wonderful experience and for sharing this special moment with your family. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars without hesitation!

30/05/2026: This is a restaurant and a cuisine I'll remember for a long time! For my first vegetarian rougail, I take my hat off to you. Delicious dishes, subtly balanced flavors, and a real "come back for more" feeling. Thank you, thank you for cooking with heart; it comes through in every plate. Thank you for introducing me to chili peppers and those simply exquisite mushroom ravioli :) To top it all off, the owner is lovely. I'll definitely be back! ^^
