31/01/2026: Our must-stop when heading south from Paris! ❤️ A place we never miss on this route. We ordered the roast chicken and it was absolutely delicious: incredibly flavorful poultry, perfectly crispy skin, juicy and tender meat. The portion was incredibly generous; we were two big eaters and we couldn't finish it all, that's how good it was! The small roasted potatoes with garlic and parsley that came with it were a treat in themselves. The service was top-notch: the staff was really friendly, smiling, and full of helpful advice. They gave us tons of great tips for our weekend in the region, which was so appreciated and really made a difference. In short, generous, authentic, and comforting cuisine in a warm atmosphere. We highly recommend it and we already know we'll be back every time we head south!

25/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise in this village. The restaurant offers home-style cooking, with a menu on the chalkboard (a sign of quality), original but above all, expertly prepared. The desserts particularly intrigued us, and they certainly lived up to expectations! I regret not returning to the village to eat there again.

12/06/2026: My friend and I came here for dinner our first night in Paris and loved it! I had seen several people online recommend L’Atelier du Marché, so we went ahead and made a reservation for dinner. About a 10-15 minute walk from Arc de Triomphe, it is in a good location. I absolutely loved the vibe of the restaurant. The menus were super fun, the vibes were restroom and chic, and I loved all the 70’s American music they were playing. Service was decent, I thought it could have been more attentive though. They offer a set price meal of a starter/main course or main course/dessert during both lunch and dinner. I found this to be a great option, especially for the price. Our food came out in a timely manner, but I thought we waited longer compared to other restaurants in the area. I ended up ordering the starter and plate for my meal. My starter came out first and I ended up ordering the French Onion Soup. They also gave us a complimentary basket of French bread when the soup arrived. The soup was a generous portion, topped with broiled comté cheese and baguette pieces. First time have authentic French Onion Soup and I can say this was magnificent! The soup had copious amounts of perfectly cooked onions, these cheese was layered on perfectly, and baguette absorbed the luscious soup so well! I would highly recommend this as a starter. About 10 minutes later my entree arrived. For my entree, I opted for the Sea Bass Fillet which came with seasonal vegetables. This was a simple yet very tasty dish. The sea bass was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were also cooked nicely. Needed some salt, but so do most meals in France. A very balanced, fresh meal that is sure to please. I tried some of my friends mashed potatoes that came with her entree—and WOW. They were whipped with lots of butter, just heavenly! Overall, L’Atelier du Marché provided a very nice meal for us. We left full and very satisfied with our experience. They place was lively with great vibes. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the aesthetic of the restaurant. I would definitely check this place out if you’re near the Arc!

02/06/2026: I regularly come to this restaurant for lunch. It's always absolutely excellent. The service is always impeccable. Zoé is incredibly kind. And Arnaud, the owner, is always there. The food is homemade! The prices are reasonable and fair. I highly recommend it. If you're in Paris and you don't visit this restaurant, you haven't truly lived.

08/05/2026: I love those quaint, rustic beer halls and pubs. We went there for a nice beer. They have various beers on tap, such as Fischer Traditionell, Meteor, and also an IPA, among others. My wife and I each had a Fischer Traditionell, and we really enjoyed it. Next time we're in Strasbourg, we'll definitely stop by again.

14/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! Bone marrow, leeks vinaigrette (so good and rare!), onion soup with Morbier cheese, etc. For main courses, I recommend the duck breast with morello cherries; it's truly a must-try. The vegetables were excellent, except for a wilted side salad—I didn't understand why. Otherwise, there's the steak poivre flambéed with cognac, served with a delicious gratin on a separate plate (like my wilted salad). The desserts were good, but I wouldn't recommend the floating island; the custard was thick and too sweet. The atmosphere is authentic; it's like stepping back in time. However, expect to pay around €70 per person. It's definitely worth it, but not an everyday experience.

10/04/2026: The MuMa is a museum that's truly worth a visit. You'll discover a beautiful, rich, and varied collection, with numerous works, each more interesting than the last. It's a real pleasure to wander through the galleries and take the time to admire the paintings. Special mention goes to the works of great painters like Claude Monet, Eugène Boudin, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Raoul Dufy, which make the visit even more exceptional.

07/04/2026: Worth the trip...a ​​beautiful museum, both for its collection, which boasts masterpieces by Monet, Pissarro, and Renoir, as well as many works by Boudin, and for its architecture. The restaurant is also very good and offers a spectacular view of the harbor.

16/04/2026: Excellent couscous and a very attentive and accommodating owner. The restaurant isn't very big, so it's best to book in advance. A great place to discover!

In a place that blends the charm of a bistro with that of an inn, featuring exposed wooden beams, you immediately feel at ease thanks to the friendly staff and the presence of regulars who fill the restaurant and bring it to life. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but pleasantly lively at lunchtime. The cuisine is the true hidden gem of the establishment, in the expert hands of a team that elevates everyday ingredients with touches of oriental flair. A truly wonderful place that I warmly recommend.
