25/08/2026: A delightful surprise! An overnight stay on our way back from Spain to Germany that we will remember fondly. A very warm welcome and excellent service all around. Dinner in the beer garden under the beautiful trees was divine. Kudos to the chef; the food, indeed the entire menu, was absolutely delicious. He truly is a Michelin-starred chef. Despite the mosquitoes, we thoroughly enjoyed the evening, as the waiter kindly brought us a mosquito coil. The waitresses and waitresses were both professional and very friendly. It certainly won't be our last visit here. Adios y hasta la vista. Familia Santos

24/08/2026: I had come for one night with my daughter to pick up my partner from another region. I was asked if I also wanted to eat at the inn. I replied that I didn't know yet, then asked if I could send a message to reserve a table for my daughter at 7 pm. I received a positive response. So I confirmed that I would come by text message before 7 pm. I am pregnant, and I had mentioned this when asking how I wanted the meat cooked. The waitress replied, "Veal doesn't need to be overcooked to avoid illness." So I was served veal that was completely raw. She also made comments to other customers about how we shouldn't have been there. There was also alcohol on the melon I had ordered for my daughter. The chef made a goodwill gesture and only charged me for the €39.90 set menu I had ordered. Knowing that I didn't get to eat my meat, I appreciate the gesture. It was my first time at an inn, and I won't be doing it again. I do, however, thank the other waiter who was very kind and apologized for the very difficult service that had stretched until 5 pm.

19/08/2026: Having visited a few years ago, I rediscovered this place and the cuisine, which remains a delight. I had a long conversation with the Chef, who was very friendly and passionate. Thank you again.

09/06/2026: I organized a group trip for 14 people, during which we stayed for three days at the Hôtel Restaurant Le Freudeneck. The service was excellent, the food exceptionally good, and the rooms, while not modern, were adequate and tidy. The dining room is cozy. We enjoyed the large terrace when the sun was shining. The location is perfect for tours in the Vosges Mountains. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to return next year.

10/09/2026: Don't forget it's a simple restaurant, so don't be in a rush. The owner is lovely, and there are many local retirees. Take your time and chat with the people at the next tables. It's an unusual establishment, just like the price: 16 euros for a starter, main course, cheese, dessert, a small carafe of red wine, and a coffee. Thank you, owner!

29/08/2026: We stayed here for one night in June 2024 while passing through. It turned out to be an excellent location: quiet, a delicious meal with chicken and banana split, and all in a fantastic atmosphere. We want to return here!

04/08/2026: Les Oliviers pizzeria in Le Neubourg is an excellent choice. The welcome is particularly warm, and the service is pleasant, friendly, and attentive. The pizzas are generous, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The setting is modern, elegant, and very comfortable, making the meal even more enjoyable. A convivial atmosphere, a friendly owner, and quality cuisine: all the ingredients are there for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this pizzeria.

25/08/2026: Stopped for ice cream, supposedly from Bertillon, for €11. Two small, tasteless scoops (lemon, peach). The waiter came back several times to confirm the order. A disappointing and expensive break.

25/08/2026: We came in unexpectedly for a small family meal. The carbonara pizza and salad were very good, and the service was excellent. Thank you, we'll be back!

22/03/2026: Very pleasant and quiet on a Sunday. Excellent. The waiter was attentive before, during, and after the meal.

16/03/2026: Avoid the cocktails as they're not great, and there are no appetizers. The owner is friendly but works alone. The food is good, but there's not much choice. We won't be going back.

15/08/2026: There were three of us looking for an Asian restaurant when we stumbled upon this place. The atmosphere is relaxing: comfortable chairs, soothing music, and decor that's present without being overwhelming. The menu offers many tempting choices, and the prices are reasonable. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful and even transforms the dining experience into something special: my dish was kept warm by a candle-powered heating system. Finally, the staff is polite, helpful, and honest: they showed us courtesy several times and discreetly offered assistance when we weren't sure how to best enjoy our meal. The restaurant called us several times on our reservation number after we left one of our handbags behind, so we could come back to retrieve it before closing time. I would therefore like to warmly thank this establishment for the excellent evening we spent there. Au Gourmet d'Indochine is definitely worth a visit.

24/07/2026: A must-visit if you're in Vagney, the pizzas are delicious. The pizza is perfectly made, the dough is perfect, absolutely divine, the sauce is unbeatable, the atmosphere is great, and the prices are reasonable. A big thumbs up to the chef.

20/08/2026: Once seated, the four of us ordered three drinks since our child was sick and couldn't drink. The waitress told us that it was mandatory for him to have a drink. We explained that he wasn't going to have a drink because he was sick, but she insisted it was mandatory. We got up and didn't order anything. What a lack of professionalism! This young woman should learn about service, politeness, and respect.
