04/08/2026: If I could give zero stars… we were told to wait ten minutes, it was over an hour, and then the meal was completely tasteless. Avoid at all costs.

26/08/2026: Family dinner (9 people) with a promising €49 set menu, considering the price. The setting is nice, the music a bit loud for my taste (especially since the music choices aren't always what you want to listen to...). I chose the sea bream tartare with green asparagus, mainly for the asparagus... which was replaced with zucchini WITHOUT being mentioned when ordering... The beef fillets were served without the garnish, which arrived almost as soon as the dish was finished, otherwise it would have been cold. One tartare was removed from the bill, but not the second... Very, very disappointed with this restaurant, which I will not be returning to.

23/08/2026: Passing by on Sunday, August 23rd, I saw a pork rib on the menu. It was beautifully presented on a bed of mashed potatoes, accompanied by carrots, zucchini, olives, and cherry tomatoes. A welcome change from fries! The staff provided excellent service. The dish cost €23. In conclusion, I highly recommend this establishment.

24/08/2026: I must say we were expecting a nice experience, but not on this level: there aren't words strong enough in French to describe the incredible and truly exceptional moment we experienced! While we had planned to swim at our favorite spot in the village of Cassis near the restaurant, we decided to have dinner at the brasserie first, as we weren't "dressed" for a fine dining establishment according to custom! I still decided to ask if there was a table available and if they would allow us to be seated in the fine dining room. And from there, our dream began, thanks to the intelligence and kindness of the receptionist, who spontaneously offered me trousers (yes, really! Instead of shorts), and luckily, we had a table available (on a Sunday evening, no less!). He also informed his boss, Dimitri, who trusted him (more emotional intelligence…), and we were able to have dinner. The final result, which many French restaurants would do well to emulate in order to occasionally break away from the norm, is that we had a wonderful, truly "timeless" experience, as we remarked at the end. From the sommelier Hortense to the various servers (even the trainee), all young and displaying a professionalism worthy of a 3-Michelin-starred establishment: attentive, perfectly timed, with impeccable timing, and above all, personalized service tailored to each customer's pace! French luxury in a magical setting—it's simply flawless! And to top it all off, Dimitri came to see us at the till when we paid the bill, even though, for once, he was dining with his family (because, as he explained, it was a small service with three-quarters of the terrace full!). His team reflects his own character, achieving world-class standards in every aspect I personally expect from a restaurant (and I travel extensively and have done so for a long time, so I can modestly make some comparisons): plus, a rare humanity and emotional intelligence! So we'll be back soon to try the other menu (fewer courses), and I already recommended the place to a friend this lunchtime who's going with his wife. When everything is perfect, you deserve to work and do business. We wish you all the best for the future: proud to be French when our French culture (fabulous food and wine pairing thanks to Hortense) is so beautifully showcased. "The man in Bermuda shorts" (thank you for making us dream 😍)

23/08/2026: Exceptional 😃. A warm welcome and impeccable service. A fabulous setting, with views of Cap Canaille and, of course, the Mediterranean. We were made to feel very welcome, expected, and pampered. Nothing was lacking. From the divine aperitif to the desserts, everything was perfect. An explosion of flavors, carefully considered combinations, and dishes as beautiful to look at as they were to eat. Delicious little extras at the beginning and end of the meal. We received excellent wine recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The sommelier took the time to talk with us and returned to our table to chat and check that everything was alright. Your dish was always clearly explained, and the service was attentive without being intrusive… the staff was charming! We appreciated Marielle Droisneau's presence and Dimitri's rounds of the tables, where he took the time to chat at the end of service. An unforgettable experience.

29/08/2026: Superb atmosphere, the welcome was absolutely top-notch. And the friendliness? I won't even mention it! Honestly, if you're planning a trip to Brive, stop here and enjoy this place where atmosphere and laughter go hand in hand. An address to keep, a must-visit!

02/08/2026: Nice restaurant, but a lack of professionalism. They bring you your main course after your aperitif, and when you ask the waiter about it, he replies, "I can bring the food after your aperitif, but it will be reheated." To avoid making a scene, you let it go. Then, when you get up to pay without ordering dessert or coffee, they come to ask if they can offer you a coffee or a digestif. Well, no sir, it's too late. You should have thought of that before.

23/08/2026: We booked a table for two at this establishment. We tried the Mozart Italian craft beer, which was very good. The pizzas were also good; you could really taste the bread and ingredients. The tiramisu dessert was also very good. The service was quick, and the atmosphere very friendly.

31/08/2026: I can highly recommend Polly and Cie! The food was exceptionally delicious at fair prices, and the service was very friendly and attentive, even providing us with an English explanation of the dishes. Since the area is somewhat quiet, you can comfortably sit and eat outside.

I highly recommend this establishment: a beautiful, well-decorated dining room, very friendly, smiling, and competent owners and waitresses, and in addition to this warm welcome, we enjoyed delicious and generous crêpes.
