24/09/2026: The new service is nothing like it used to be. The guy at reception is always irritable for no apparent reason, unfriendly, and stingy with the sauces. Rats were roaming the restaurant. They treat people like idiots.

12/10/2026: A very friendly waitress. No wait. A varied buffet. Good value for money. But not all desserts were available.

06/10/2026: We felt very comfortable here as a family with two small children, and the language wasn't a problem for us at all. Everyone spoke excellent English and was able to explain the French menu to us clearly. The staff was very attentive and gave us helpful advice. Even the children's menus had a good selection, and together with the various syrups, water flavors, and ice cream, everyone was very happy. The children's menus arrived at the same time as the appetizers, so the children didn't have to wait hungry. It was also nice to be offered a carafe of tap water without having to ask. If we come back here, we will definitely come again. We highly recommend it.

22/07/2026: We had menu du jour on a Monday. What a great experience! The team were friendly and attentive. The food was innovative and top quality. The setting is very pretty also. Please do visit - you will be surprised how good this place is!!

27/05/2026: I had a wonderful time at L’Instant Mont Le Viaur with my colleague. The setting is superb, calm, and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome, with great kindness and professionalism. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. You can tell that everything is designed to make guests feel at home. The restaurant was also a delightful discovery: excellent, generous dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients. Everything was truly delicious from start to finish. The breakfast was also plentiful and very enjoyable. I recommend this establishment without hesitation and will gladly return.

20/10/2026: Thursday, September 24, 2026, the day of the mique (a type of bread pudding), which I'd never experienced before, coming from the Pyrenees. For my taste, of course, the mique was bland, and shouldn't it normally contain chickpeas? Otherwise, the setting and service were very good, as was the local aperitif. I'll come back to see if it's better, as there were 40 people upstairs. See you soon!

11/10/2026: This is one of our favourite restaurants in Montreal, and one which we try to go to every time we visit. The fondue, raclette, and the pierrade are all top notch and rare finds anywhere in North America (trust us, we’ve tried to find equivalents, but failed). Service is always top notch because the owners take special care to ensure an atmosphere of convivialite that’s particularly becoming a rarity in the restaurant world beset by increasing corporate ownership, which by itself is not a bad thing, but it’s clear to me that you easily lose something in that process. The fact that this place has been around for more than 40 years says it all. We’ve seen wedding receptions here, special date nights, and families with babies and young children who all enjoy their experience. It’s bring your own wine which is just gravy on top. Bravo! Please don’t ever change.

24/10/2026: Not friendly at all, they were in a rush to get us to leave. Six times in 20 minutes they came to tell us to hurry up and finish our order and eat. The food wasn't fresh! And the meat was full of gristle. I definitely don't recommend it. Frankly, I was very disappointed.

04/11/2026: Lunch for three was a bit of a letdown. My feelings were mixed because the set lunch menu was fixed: one starter, one main course, one dessert. No choices whatsoever. We understand the operational rationale ("Can you give me two starters, please?" "Three courses for the X" easy, lazy one), but as a customer, we felt "trapped" (the website isn't clear and suggests we can choose other menus; I probably misunderstood). In this controlled/imposed context, we expected perfection. Alas, no. The king-size gougère (eating it with your fingers or cutlery is tricky either way) served as an amuse-bouche, was rather bland, and the same thing happened with the botched coffee (diluted in an espresso cup... like when you remake a coffee with a used Nespresso capsule) in a sweet version... meh. The starter: pasta with a green dill sauce, okay, it did the job, but frankly not up to the standard expected at this level of dining. The dish was very good: salt-crusted fish with a creamy accompaniment. The highlight of the meal. It was indulgent, with a pleasant mix of textures. It's a shame there was no bread... the dessert was more of a pre-dessert (and the apples were mealy). The wine pairing (3 glasses) was good, but at €36, finishing with cider... that's a bit steep. The dishes weren't presented or explained. The order was rushed. The bill came to €280. "Oops, I forgot the coffees, so that makes €295." In short: if you really want to limit your lunchtime customers' choices, offer something better if you want to maintain this price point. The service was okay, but again, not up to the expected standard. Perhaps evening customers are luckier and have a proper experience? I'm adding to my review in light of your response: you didn't question your approach, but rather offered an explanation that aimed to make me understand that I hadn't understood. The situation in the kitchen isn't my problem, especially if it's not mentioned to me when I sit down at your table. I really like the concept of not announcing the dishes so as not to disturb anyone… which is probably why I thought there was dill instead of watercress. Finally, you misunderstood when you pointed out that we ordered glasses of champagne to justify the €295 bill. My point was about the attitude and lack of professionalism, not the actual amount. Good luck to you if you don't reflect on your approach.

04/11/2026: We chose Le Braque to celebrate our 7th anniversary together, and what a wonderful discovery it was! Upon arrival, we were almost surprised by the quiet atmosphere of the dining room, but this in no way detracted from the quality of the experience or the restaurant's pleasant ambiance. The hostess was particularly welcoming, attentive, and professional. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, and each course was a true delight: high-quality ingredients, pure and perfectly balanced flavors, and exquisite presentation. Excellent value for money for a gastronomic experience that we truly enjoyed. We left delighted and completely satisfied. A truly wonderful restaurant in Lille!

07/10/2026: I stumbled upon this little gem while strolling through the streets of Marseille. It was love at first sight! The service is impeccable, the selection of natural wines is excellent, and the chefs rotate regularly to delight the palate. In short, a well-hidden little place with a superb terrace. I came alone with my book and had a wonderful time. I can't wait to come back with friends for a fantastic evening.

19/07/2026: The three of us had a wonderful time Saturday evening at the grocery store. The €39 set menu is a real treat, from appetizer to dessert, with delicious dishes and delightful discoveries, all prepared with local and seasonal produce. The cuisine is sincere and refined. A big thank you to this passionate couple. The gentleman is in the kitchen, skillfully elevating the ingredients, while the lady provides attentive, warm, and friendly service. A lovely place where you feel right at home, and one I wholeheartedly recommend.
