10/10/2026: Appalling welcome, not even a greeting, just a cutting remark from someone who seemed to be the owner. Apparently, we sat at a reserved table (which wasn't indicated), but she didn't offer us another seat (even though there was plenty of room). In short, we were in the way! Avoid this place; unacceptable behavior from a business owner.

04/10/2026: Having just moved to the area, this is the only pizzeria I've tried and absolutely loved. I've never had such delicious pizzas. I tried the salmon and chicken ones and I was blown away. The bread is soft and fluffy. +++ The staff are super friendly, kind, and always smiling.

27/09/2026: We were eager to try the delicious food in Alsace and this was a great place. The menu offered a very good selection of dishes, including local Alsatian wine, beer, and water. The service was very friendly, and the owner also spoke German, which made things easier. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back twice.

02/11/2026: The place is pleasant (nice decor, soft lighting, not-too-loud music), the food is decent, but the prices are way too high! €12 for half an eggplant stuffed with a few buckwheat groats and honey on a bed of feta cheese sauce, with absolutely no presentation, not even a lettuce leaf or a sprig of parsley! It's really overpriced! For that price, I expected a whole eggplant! Tapas at the price of a main course is completely outrageous!

26/10/2026: I absolutely do not understand this restaurant's 4.1/5 rating. The service was disastrous, the wait interminable even though the restaurant was practically empty, and the quality of the food is simply unacceptable. I ordered seafood pasta, supposedly an Italian specialty: a real disappointment. The dish was cold, tasteless, and bland… Nothing that would make me want to come back. The menu clearly needs to be revised, as does the quality of the service. We came from far away and ended up eating here without really knowing where to go. What a disappointment! Between the service, the wait time, and the quality of the food, nothing was right. Honestly, I question the reliability of this 4.1/5 rating given our experience. I can only advise against this place. A catastrophic experience, avoid at all costs!

04/08/2026: August 2, 2026, What a wonderful moment! We chose the Auberge du Vieux Château to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday with family. There were 13 of us, and I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to celebrate this event. The restaurant, completely renovated, is simply magnificent. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated in a lovely, quiet room, perfect for sharing this moment in complete privacy. We were immediately taken care of for aperitifs by attentive, smiling, and always available staff. Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable. As for the food… a true delight! The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were as beautiful as they were delicious. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and flavors that everyone loved. Everything was succulent! Seeing my whole family happy and delighted with this meal was the greatest gift. I am absolutely delighted to have chosen this restaurant, and I sincerely believe it would be hard to find better. A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and contribution to the success of this very important day for us. We will return with great pleasure and recommend this wonderful place without hesitation!
