06/03/2026: It's good, it's nice, the prices are fair, and the food is delicious. The decor is Alsatian, it's a style, but it lingers in your mind, and for that reason alone, we'll be back. The tarte flambée is expertly made. A very charming spot in a very touristy area where some places wouldn't hesitate to serve you bland and overpriced food. L'Arbalète isn't a tourist trap, but a truly lovely restaurant! And we absolutely love it!

03/04/2026: A dark and dreary location in a deserted alley in Aix-en-Provence. We were misled by reviews referring to previous owners, if not other establishments with similar names. The food was poor quality, something even an excellent chef (and that wasn't the case). We should have known right away: the place was empty (us and a German couple). The service was good, as the waiter was very friendly, but he couldn't save the food. I forgot: there are no outdoor tables and no terrace (the reviews that mention it must refer to some other establishment).

12/04/2026: We had lunch on Friday, April 10, 2026. The chef kindly offered us fresh vegetables instead of fries at our request. The salmon tartare was perfect, and the steak was rare but piping hot. Thank you. Worth a visit. See you soon.

The meal was perfect, from the welcome and service to the food—nothing to complain about! 17/04/2026: It's a shame the waitress rushed us a bit with our order 😏 We should have ordered right away because other people were about to arrive, so we opted for the daily special, which was certainly very, very good. No regrets, but when you go to a restaurant, you're supposed to be relaxed. It's okay, though; she was fully focused on her service and, despite that, very friendly 😊 We'll be back, and this time we'll order from the menu. We'll try to be a bit more responsive 😂
