Of course, we also loved the croquettes and other tapas to share. We had a fantastic time at this restaurant. (No need to make a reservation)

Generous portions, perfectly cooked meat and fish, as well as homemade desserts, and efficient yet discreet service! All this at very reasonable prices! 07/03/2026: Currently closed for renovations since early March 2026. Under new ownership since November 2025. Since the change in management, I haven't noticed any negative changes in quality. Let's hope the renovations don't mean the restaurant will close or lead to a detrimental decline in quality. I would say it's one of the few really good kebab shops in Paris, and even in the suburbs. A customer like HF says there are better ones on the next street, but the staff at this competing restaurant aren't very friendly.

18/06/2026: Family run, rooms are very clean, the way they restored the room is delightful, the fixtures are high end, bed is very comfortable, food and wine excellent, try the local craft beer, lots of parking and the young lady managing everything is passionate and friendly. Good find in an otherwise slightly barren but bucolic area!

04/06/2026: The most helpful and wonderful people we met during our journey in France. Long story short: I injured my leg, and while driving back home, our car broke down near Ussel. As we urgently searched for a place to stay, we ended up at the Grand Hôtel—and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. François helped us with absolutely everything: communicating with the workshop, finding local services, and, most importantly, providing us with a charming and comfortable place to stay. His kindness and support helped us cope with all the unexpected problems that suddenly came our way. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, the rooms are comfortable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. To my mind this hotel could be a perfect base for exploring the beautiful surrounding region. A million thanks to François and the entire team for their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care. We will never forget your help during a very difficult moment of our trip. Highly recommended!
