19/04/2026: We were eager to discover this place. The welcome was warm, as was the service from a very friendly and professional young man. However, we left with mixed feelings about the food. We wanted to have a drink before our meal, but the beginning of the menu was served almost simultaneously. The starters were classic, lacking any real flair. The main courses were of mediocre quality: the fish was undercooked in our opinion, and the side dishes were bland and underdeveloped. We mentioned this, but received no response. The desserts were served quickly and met the expectations of an establishment of this type. Finally, the wine selection was adequate, but the presentation was cursory. There was little interaction. A mixed experience that raises questions.

12/04/2026: Not great, the lasagna pasta wasn't cooked and was swimming in tomato sauce, and the pork knuckle wasn't desalted. I think the cook needs a refresher course.

28/04/2026: Superb place: as its name suggests, a charming café! You can enjoy homemade waffles there from 3 pm to 6 pm. I simply opted for a tea (rose jasmine), which was very, very good. A lovely little break in this spot near the Oullins train/metro station. I'll definitely be back to try their food! Charming owners. 21/04/2026: I've been going to this restaurant since it opened. It's always impeccable. The daily specials are homemade. The service and welcome are pleasant. I'm leaving the area permanently in a few weeks, and I'll miss this great place in Oullins.

17/04/2026: A very pleasant restaurant on the banks of the Somme. The service is excellent and the food is very good. The only slight drawback is the small size of the dining room and the tables being very close together. Otherwise, we had a lovely time. I recommend it.

16/04/2026: We arrived on a Thursday around 1 p.m. without a reservation. We were seated inside immediately and received the menus in English upon request. Minor communication issues were quickly resolved, and our drinks and meal arrived very promptly, even though the restaurant was quite busy! The three-course meal for €35 was absolutely fine – very tasty and beautifully presented! Definitely recommended (which is probably why it's also popular with French people). The only drawback: One restroom for men and women (one enclosed toilet and one room with a saloon-style door for standing urination 🫣🙁). It felt a bit odd – other guests felt the same way… Otherwise, excellent!

22/04/2026: A delightful discovery, bursting with flavor and Asian decor. A menu that will please both vegans and non-vegans. From the moment you enter, you're transported to Asia by the lion masks and other Asian motifs. Beautiful, fragrant, and delicious. I'll definitely be back.

09/04/2026: Best bar in Castres, run by unconventional but friendly owners. Exquisite cocktails, Jean Jaurès himself would have loved them. The festive and varied evenings honor the legacy of the bearded humanist. Between laughter and darts, this place will satisfy your wildest desires. If there's one thing that should draw you to this bar, it's the eclectic mix of its regulars.
