06/11/2026: Wonderful old craftsmanship was very well presented in the historic houses. The number of visitors was manageable, but one restaurant was already full and had to open a second seating at 2 pm by reservation only. It might be advisable to bring your own food. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. I would go again anytime.

03/10/2026: Disappointing, expensive, cold, portions need improvement, not relaxing at all, the welcome was too theatrical, a restaurant for passing through. Avoid it on weekends. Service was adequate but the quality has really dropped. I no longer find pleasure in going to a restaurant, which is a shame. We've been customers for years, but it's over for us. The best part was the wine and the coffee.

28/09/2026: It's always a great pleasure to come to the potato farm in Rivesaltes. It's true that we've never been disappointed, and if that has ever happened, we immediately play the indulgence card, knowing there's a perfectly valid reason behind it. The most important thing for us is to have a pleasant time. And yes, we must admit that children's shouts and wandering around can be bothersome, because we don't come here to put up with that kind of inconvenience. Otherwise, we would simply go to the playground. The responsibility for this disturbance lies with the parents, as it's normal for a child to want to play and roughhouse. But adults have a duty to supervise out of respect for other customers. And vice versa? Well, since adult parks aren't open to children, the latter wouldn't be bothered, would they! Is it really worth taking children to a restaurant if they can't even sit through a meal? Personally, I'll give you the example of my grandson, who has such boundless energy that the only place we can take him for lunch is fast food restaurants with a children's area, because we don't want to bother people who haven't asked for anything. Since the staff and management of La Pataterie are in no way responsible for parental laxity, we'll continue to enjoy our meals.

09/09/2026: Very friendly welcome, genuine Japanese staff from the dining room to the kitchen 👍😁 Small menu 👍😁 We'd been wanting to eat there for two years, given the rather positive Google reviews. In short, quite disappointed 😞 However, the value for money is impeccable 👍 it's very fair. It wasn't bad, but not exceptional either 🫤 but we weren't hungry when we left the restaurant 😉 The starter, included in the price of the main course (nice touch), was a simple mixed salad, but the dressing was good. 👍 + A small bowl of cucumber with seaweed and sesame, nothing special. 😞 For the main course, we had a breaded assortment, not bad, but nothing special either. 😞 It came with rice that was too soggy and, above all, tasteless. 😞 On the other hand, the miso soup was nice. 👍😁 For dessert, I tried the homemade red bean ice cream 😍 I loved it. Original, with a subtle chestnut flavor. It was definitely my favorite dish of the restaurant. 😁 In conclusion, based on the Google reviews, I think you should try another dish from the one we ordered.

02/09/2026: We had the pleasure of dining with our family on a Saturday evening at the end of August after some heavy thunderstorms. While we weren't able to enjoy the terrace, everything was done to ensure a successful evening. The warm welcome from the staff, the ambiance of "Le Passeur," and the truly delicious crêpes, thanks to the quality of the ingredients and their impeccable preparation, were all outstanding. 01/10/2026: I had the opportunity to have dinner at this restaurant yesterday. There were two of us, and we ordered the "Ravioli du Dauphiné," the prawn and mascarpone risotto, a crème brûlée, and a thin apple tart. Let's start with the good points: The staff was quite polite. The thin apple tart was very good. That's where the positives end. As for the dishes, they were under-seasoned, the risotto was very oily, and ultimately far from the texture and cooking of a proper risotto. When we returned, the waitress politely suggested that we probably weren't used to this type of risotto, as we were more accustomed to African risottos… At the end of the meal, the chef and owner sat down next to us in the dining room to smoke a cigarette (yes, inside). Nevertheless, he was a very friendly person. This restaurant is definitely not one to avoid, but it's not one I would recommend.

30/09/2026: This place is incredible, very quiet but on a very busy street especially in the evenings/night. My friend and I had wine, and also had frogs legs and snails followed by veal all of a superior quality. The lady serving us was friendly and personable and made me and my friend feel welcome and at home even though the restaurant is in cannes
