11/05/2026: Dinner for two on a Saturday night (reservation). Our experience reflects the current rating of this restaurant: excellent. We ordered four tapas (generous portions, and I have a big appetite) and two desserts (definitely try the cheesecake and the dessert cocktail, you won't regret it), as well as cocktails, all on the terrace (the street isn't very busy, so don't worry), and we had no complaints. Hats off to the waiter who managed the dining room single-handedly, with a smile, and without any negative impact on the wait time. It's worth noting that this was our first visit, and the waiter told us that the tapas are seasonal, so there are periodically new items on the menu. We'll be back!

24/07/2026: Every time we're in Nancy, this restaurant is a must-stop. Always top-notch in every way. A new addition: tarte flambée—a real treat, just like I remember from my childhood when we ate them in Alsace. I highly recommend this restaurant. Hope to see you again soon.

21/08/2026: We visited this restaurant in the historic center of this beautiful medieval village and had a truly wonderful time. The restaurant is small, intimate, and comfortable, with limited seating. The dishes are typically French, beautifully presented, and very good, as are the wines. The owner is extremely kind and accommodating.

03/08/2026: Very satisfied with this restaurant. The homemade food was excellent, and the menu prices were very reasonable. 👍 The atmosphere is medieval, with a lovely stone vaulted ceiling and a small, intimate dining room, ideal for a romantic meal. The service was very pleasant.

21/08/2026: A wonderful jazz evening at La Trinquette with the David Amar trio, who sing original jazz in French, accompanied by a pianist and drummer, both of exceptional talent. A warm welcome, a delicious buffet – in short, a great discovery and an experience to be repeated.

16/08/2026: La Trinquette is definitely my favorite spot in Villefranche, or at least one of the last places to remain true to the town. Here, you can take the time to talk, eat, and daydream. Leaving the restaurant, the other establishments on the port are like Parisian cafés at rush hour. If only for the warm welcome (not to mention the generous portions), go for it!
