05/08/2026: We arrived with a dog and were warmly welcomed with a bowl of water for him. The staff were friendly, smiling, and very efficient. The meal was generous and the service was quick, even though the restaurant was full. We highly recommend this restaurant!

03/08/2026: A very good restaurant that we had eaten at a few years ago during a previous vacation. The food is very good and the staff very friendly! But 4 stars because I was disappointed by the trout, which, moreover, was only available on the menu! My husband remembered the excellent whole trout he had eaten on a previous vacation... and this time it was a salmon trout steak (not a fillet as indicated on the menu), admittedly good, but reminiscent of a salmon steak... in fact, the lady behind us (who had ordered the same thing) exclaimed, "Oh, a salmon steak!" 🤣 So don't order the trout! The rest of the food is very good, and the gratin dauphinois is excellent. As a result, this menu seems expensive for that... what a shame! We only came once instead of four times last time...

The food was fresh and delicious. The service was great! We were welcomed in the nicest way. I 100% advise anyone to go and give this place a try. Lovely experience!

23/08/2026: Okay, first off, don't bother looking for photos, I didn't post any because I just devoured the food without thinking. We had to wait until 1:45 PM to get a table, but it was worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. So we ordered the duck confit (oh my god, the potatoes were amazing!!!) which came with a walnut mustard, oh my god!!!! We also had a porcini mushroom omelet. It sounds simple, but it was truly exceptional. How did they do it??? Apparently, it's a grandmother's recipe. Anyway, for dessert, walnut cake (oh my!) with walnut ice cream, walnut ice cream soufflé, and fromage blanc with homemade jam (hooray for pears!). In short, finally, the long-awaited holiday restaurant.

23/08/2026: We went for lunch on a Sunday in August without a reservation, and they gave us a table without any problem; we just had to walk around until something became available. The food was exquisite, and they adapted the dishes for children. The mushroom omelet was a 10/10, and the duck breast was excellent as well. The terrace is lovely; the grapevine gives it a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

19/08/2026: TL;DR: An amazing restaurant with exceptional food, fantastic service, and a great atmosphere. 10/10 - would absolutely recommend. I managed to snatch the last available table for two on Saturday, August 8th, and I'm very glad I did. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome. We started with water and an aperitif, accompanied by two lovely amuse-bouches. I ordered "The Green," an infused gin and tonic cocktail, which tasted great and came with a beautiful presentation. For dinner, we chose the three-course Chausey menu. We both started with the oysters, which were delicious and incredibly fresh, exactly what you would hope for when dining this close to the sea. For our main course, we both had the mussels with spaghetti and lobster bouillon. This dish was absolutely perfect. The flavours worked beautifully together, and it was easily one of the highlights of the evening. For dessert, we chose "Le Baba au Rhum Raisin", an amazingly light and boozy cake that was the perfect way to finish the meal. The service deserves a special mention as well. We weren't sure which wine to choose and had a few specific requests. Our waitress, who spoke perfect English and was specially assigned to our table, took the time to consult their wine expert and came back with an excellent selection of options tailored to what we were looking for. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had the right wine to accompany our meal. Overall, everything came together perfectly: excellent food, attentive and genuinely helpful service, beautiful presentation, and a wonderful atmosphere. It was easily one of the best dining experiences of our trip. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and would happily return.
