06/03/2026: We came as a family and started with a delicious miso soup and a well-seasoned cabbage salad. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was disappointing: the raw fish was watery, and the gyozas were cold. Three out of the four of us were sick the next day. It's a shame, because the decor is lovely, and the person who served us was very helpful.

15/02/2026: My boyfriend and I wanted to eat at this restaurant last night for Valentine's Day. The service was slow, and we waited for a good twenty minutes hoping that someone would eventually look at us or give us some attention. Then, some customers arrived well after us and were given immediate attention, even though we were literally seated right in front of the counter, so close our feet were aching. As a result, we left without having been able to try the restaurant because we were simply ignored from beginning to end. This is unacceptable. I can understand that service might be busy for a holiday, but customer service is also part of the job. If you were overwhelmed, simply informing us would have been great, but I cannot tolerate such a lack of respect.

18/10/2026: Impeccable service and dining room. The mussels au gratin and pluma menu was perfect.

11/10/2026: We're going to eat at Le Cabanon for lunch today as a family. We come from time to time, we know what to expect, and we're never really disappointed. Today, everything started well. After eating our starters, we waited 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, then 30 minutes. Seeing us getting impatient, the waiter finally cleared our starters. Another 15 minutes passed before the same waiter brought us the dessert menu. Trying to remain calm, we explained that we would like to eat our main courses before dessert... At that point, we obviously realized we had been forgotten. We then waited another 30 minutes before our main courses were served. When the dishes arrived, my salmon was served with only half of the side dish. The waiter told me three times that he would bring me the rest, but it never happened. As for my partner, her cuttlefish arrived in a disastrous state. It's sometimes difficult to cook cuttlefish properly; it can sometimes be tough. But in this case, I suspect the dish had been left on the warming plate, as the cuttlefish resembled a potato chip, completely dried out and clearly inedible. I'm not usually one to leave reviews because we can all make mistakes. However, I'm quite disappointed not to have received any apology or even a small gesture of goodwill. Of course, we left without ordering dessert!

21/10/2026: Good wood-fired crepes, the waiter is excellent.

21/10/2026: What a wonderful discovery! Despite the 40-degree heat, we stopped to eat some delicious crepes made over a wood fire with love by the owner. It was a truly timeless moment, like "cherry season."

03/10/2026: This is one of the few restaurants in Nantes that caters to both children and parents. We've never been disappointed; the menus are excellent and the service is quick. It's best to book ahead, as this restaurant is very popular with parents of young children!

11/09/2026: We came here with our 16-month-old son and were able to enjoy a lovely meal with the whole family. The friendly atmosphere and fun play corners ensure that a visit to this restaurant is a pleasant and relaxing experience for everyone. The owner is very friendly and really makes you feel welcome here, both you and your child.

26/08/2026: Like everyone has said, eating here is like eating at your best friend's house as a child. Very obviously home-cooked warmth. Go with the plats de jeur (two-meat meatball in tomato on rice when I ate here) and the house dessert (creme caramel) is equally delicious and comforting. An excellent diversion from the gastro brasserie fare. 100% would visit again.

19/07/2026: Best Japanese restaurant in the area, everything is delicious and made to order. The homemade sauces are also excellent. I highly recommend it; the servers are very kind and welcoming.

27/09/2026: We came for lunch today. After paying, we were told that ice cream wasn't available that day. Then we were asked what we could get instead from the pastry selection. Disappointed for our daughter, we said two donuts. We were served only one. So I have two problems. The first is ordering and paying for something we only learned about after we'd already paid. The second, and more serious because it has a name, is replacing it with something of lesser value than what we paid for, even though the customer is the one who actually paid. You replace one, not two, because it exceeds the value, but you don't mind replacing it with something of lesser value than what the customer paid for! That has a name, I'll let you guess. To top it off, the book and the drinkable yogurt weren't there, so we gave up and left without getting them, and there were no napkins. As for table service, how many times do you have to get up to get what you're owed, and leave without having received the full value of your order?
