26/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, there was no greeting, no welcome whatsoever. We had to go and find the waiter behind the counter ourselves just to be told where to sit. As for the food, the dishes were decent, but frankly nothing special, especially considering the prices: around €60 per person for a main course, dessert, and a glass of wine. At this price point, one expects a completely different experience, both in terms of the food and the service. Furthermore, the outdoor chairs are of very low quality, making them particularly uncomfortable. We were poorly seated throughout the entire meal, which is all the more disappointing given the prices. Unfortunately, the departure pretty much sums up the meal: when it came time to pay, we were handed the receipt without a word, without even a glance… Non-existent welcome, cold service, uncomfortable seating, and prices completely disproportionate to the quality of the experience. Avoid at all costs.

17/08/2026: A very good experience at this restaurant in Calais city center. The establishment is often very busy, especially during peak season, so reservations are highly recommended. The atmosphere is friendly but extremely noisy. The staff is pleasant and efficient. We were served quite quickly despite the crowd. The cuisine is classic but well-executed. Special mention goes to the beef tartare, which was delicious. The prices are reasonable, in line with what you would typically find at other establishments of this type.

24/08/2026: A warm welcome, a superb team, and delicious food! That pretty much sums it up... Well, almost, because to elaborate, we were first greeted by a charming team. This same team ensured flawless service. Our heartfelt congratulations to everyone, from the kitchen staff to, of course, the Chef, who delighted our taste buds, not forgetting the behind-the-scenes staff who ensured our comfort. An excellent establishment with, moreover, a beautiful terrace overlooking the Saône River, which we highly recommend. A big thank you to everyone, and above all, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" 😉
