10/05/2026: It was great! We ordered three appetizers to share; the croquettes were delicious and the tonkatsu pork was just perfect! For our main courses, we had two octopus dishes and a chicken with bacon and cheddar. Everything was amazing! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Cassis! You can go there without hesitation! Special mention to the waitress who was lovely and to the chef who truly knows his ingredients!

11/06/2026: On a small, airy square, you'll find a charming establishment with a warm welcome. The menu is short and concise, with meat taking center stage. That evening, a beautiful, generous rib of beef, cooked to perfection and served on a wooden board with small potatoes and three delicious sauces, made for a delightful meal. The wine list is attractive and well-chosen. Very reasonable prices in a very touristy area. I highly recommend it.

14/06/2026: Yesterday, I went to the Sun Café restaurant/bar with three other people, and we left extremely disappointed with our experience. The service was very slow and drawn out from beginning to end. We consumed a lot of food there, which wasn't good, including about five bottles of wine, and I must admit that the wines served were decent. However, the quality of the service left much to be desired. We were greeted and served rudely by three employees: a dark-haired man with glasses, another with shoulder-length hair, and a third, blond man of Portuguese origin, who arrogantly pretended to be French. Their attitude made the atmosphere particularly unpleasant. Beyond the excessive wait and lack of courtesy, what shocked us most was how the situation ended. We had a very unpleasant exchange with two employees and felt intimidated, with the feeling that the incident could have escalated into an assault. Going to a restaurant isn't just about the quality of the food and drinks: respect, politeness, and attentive service are essential. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences we've had in an establishment of this type.

09/07/2025: Amazing view, top-notch service, and fabulous food. We had the tomato burrata for starters—it was very, very tasty, as were the snails. The steak for main course was also very good, and for dessert, the chocolate mousse. Although it's in a tourist area, it's really not expensive. The price/performance ratio is absolutely perfect.

05/07/2026: Ladies and gentlemen, good morning. I'm back to share my experience with you, this time at a village restaurant. We arrived at 8:00 PM. Initially, everything suggested we would have a pleasant experience. However, at 8:15 PM, it was time to order: the waitress had just taken our order. At that moment, we had no idea that an hour later, our table would still be empty (there were only four of us). Indeed, at 9:30 PM, the first two courses were served, after we made two comments to the waitresses (which were very understandable, by the way). But that wasn't all. We had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the third course, but be warned: the waitress arrived with a bull fillet, while we had ordered fried carp… So, we had to add another 5 minutes to get the actual last course. And you can add another 5 minutes to get the bowl of rice we were missing. And of course, to top it all off, the fourth and final course arrived 20 minutes after everything else. The bottom line: between our orders being taken and the arrival of the last course, 1 hour and 45 minutes had passed. When we expressed our dissatisfaction to the waitress, she explained that we weren't the only ones, but that the situation was exceptional. And I can confirm this, as my first experience at this restaurant a year ago was very positive. You're almost a one-star restaurant, simply because of the wait for your food. You can thank the kindness and friendliness of the waitresses and the delicious food, which earned you two stars. So, I advise any of my readers who might want to experience this restaurant to bring a sleeping bag. Have a lovely afternoon.

11/04/2026: On Saturday evening, March 28th, on the advice of my children, I went to eat. The meal was pleasant, the service average. The service was going well until the waitress brought me the wine. I was served a glass of wine, which was more like the dregs of the bottle, complete with sediment. When I pointed this out to her, she replied, without apologizing, that the dregs of the bottle were normal. When paying, I took the glass to the owner, who made the same comment as her waitress. As a former restaurant owner, I would never have tolerated such a response to a customer. I do not recommend this restaurant, especially to wine lovers and/or connoisseurs, as the staff lacks professionalism... much like the owner.

28/02/2026: A warm welcome and personalized service for a surprise birthday party with over 40 people. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive.

27/02/2026: Excellent experience. The setting is fantastic, with beautiful decor and ambiance. As for the menu, we opted for the aged rib-eye steaks, which were incredibly tender and delicious. The Irish coffee, besides being beautifully presented, was excellent. Superb service; the servers were courteous, friendly, and efficient. Well done and thank you!

11/06/2026: A gem on the port of Sète! An absolutely perfect experience at Le Boucanier restaurant! We ate exceptionally well. The Mediterranean bluefin tuna was incredibly fresh and of exceptional quality, a true delight for the taste buds. The setting is ideal, right on the port of Sète, which offers a typical and very pleasant atmosphere. To top it all off, the service is impeccable: the team is attentive, particularly friendly, welcoming, and remarkably efficient. A must-try that I wholeheartedly recommend! We will definitely be back. A big thank you to the entire team!

07/05/2026: We came for brunch this Tuesday. We were greeted by a tall man, not very friendly right away. He spoke English, although I didn't seem to show that I knew the language. Another man was friendly, but unfortunately he wasn't the one serving us. The food was delicious. However, the drinks... They don't know what kind of coffee they serve, and when they finally find this information somewhere, they heat up the already cooled filter with a steamer... My friend's matcha was also far from ideal. Here for the food 👍🏻 For the drinks 👎🏻
