27/08/2026: A magnificent setting, both inside and out. A calm and intimate atmosphere, a very friendly, cheerful, and generous service team. The food is excellent, made with quality ingredients. The pollack was absolutely divine with an excellent butter sauce 🫠 great Punch and Creole cocktails 🍹 👌

31/08/2026: A Breton crêperie in Vézénobre! I couldn't miss it. After visiting the village, I came for lunch, curious to compare the galettes on the menu with those from my home region. I chose the galette with Guéméné andouille sausage, and it was perfect with a nice cold local dark beer. It's a great place, and I thank the crêpe maker and the waitress for their warm welcome and the quality of the food. I'll definitely be back to try the other galettes, but the Guéméné andouille is just too good, and I'm a true Breton through and through. So I have a feeling I'll be torn between the sausage galette and the andouille galette for a long time. Joël from Brest

17/08/2026: Excellent pizzas, the crust is light and delicious, and the toppings are well-prepared. We had a wonderful time; the welcome, service, and food were all excellent, including a superb fruit salad. The menu changes weekly, so there's never a dull moment. Plus, the restaurant is dog-friendly! We'll definitely be back.

18/08/2026: A very warm welcome and very friendly staff! 😊 We opted to treat ourselves to the scallop menu, accompanied by a bottle of white wine from Domaine de la Clape, a very good local wine. 🍷 We weren't disappointed! The ingredients were of very high quality, the dishes were delicious, and we had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

11/08/2026: A very good experience in HauteLuce. Warm service, generous and high-quality dishes. The terrace is very well located! Good value for money, especially the hiker's lunch menu at €26 (starter, main course, dessert). The fondue is also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! I highly recommend it.

07/08/2026: This is definitely a hidden gem. I only wish we’d found it on our first night of holiday rather than last . But it was perfect. Lovely setting - we sat outside in the back garden which had a good atmosphere, Lots of happy looking people at busy tables. The main restaurant indoor space also looked like a good setting. Service was attentive , but not in your face, drinks came quickly , and they had a good selection. We were a family of 5 -and they they has something for everyone but the main course was the star of the show . 3 of us had the pasta ragu- which we all agreed was up there as one of the best ever. Good portion, lots of delicious meat and the right amount of sauce. The melanzane parmigiana was apparently one of the best ever also according to one of our family members ! Highly recommend and would definitely have revisited multiple times. Also - everything was a reasonable price and parking was easy and right outside . Thanks to all the staff and the chef !!

22/07/2026: An excellent family-run Italian restaurant with a charming and welcoming atmosphere! The pizzas and other Italian dishes are impeccable (special mention for the Penne al ragù!). A very pleasant experience in a lovely setting.

21/08/2026: A timeless moment to appreciate the calm and the various dining options (à la carte but several set menus to suit almost every budget). A good selection of wines by the glass and generous portions – I'll be back!

13/08/2026: Arrived an hour late, scheduled for 8 PM but not until 9 PM, after a 35-minute drive on terrible roads (we were so frustrated!). The kitchen was closed. Nothing to serve us. Completely unacceptable! I do not recommend it.

24/08/2026: A very warm welcome, a very pleasant meal, quality wines, and excellent desserts. Just be sure to check your bill carefully, as I had a small issue: a bottle of Poully-Fuissé was charged well above the price listed on the wine list. After contacting the restaurant manager by phone, he confirmed the error and is awaiting a refund. This should be processed soon. Otherwise, I highly recommend this restaurant for discerning palates.

23/08/2026: Excellent cuisine, quality ingredients, and delicious dishes. The welcome is warm and the service pleasant. The setting on the banks of the Aure River is truly charming. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return. I highly recommend Le Volet qui Penche!
