09/06/2026: We had a wonderful evening at the open-air café and then continued on to the restaurant. From the cocktails to the after-dinner drinks, it was simply delightful. The hotel rooms were spacious and quiet. I highly recommend it for a romantic weekend getaway or a trip with friends. 31/08/2026: A truly wonderful time at Port de By. First, the setting: a beautiful, charming stone house nestled on the banks of the Saône. An atmosphere that immediately invites you to slow down and savor the moment. We started with some mussels seasoned with Basque Xipister liqueur: simple, precise, and perfectly balanced to awaken the taste buds. This was accompanied by a lovely white wine suggestion, crisp and vibrant, which immediately prepared the palate for what was to come. The cuisine follows the same philosophy: quality ingredients, flavor, and no need for unnecessary embellishment. The meat from Ferme de Clavisy is a perfect example. You can sense the discerning hand of a true producer behind the dish, and naturally, the taste is there. Then came the frogs' legs in parsley sauce, generous, flavorful, and perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the place. A cuisine that embraces its local terroir and does it well. And then there's the wine cellar, which truly enhances the enjoyment of the evening. Magnificent Mâcon-Chaintré Vieilles Vignes from Maison Valette, a blend of the 2018, 2022, and 2023 vintages: substantial, but above all, a tension, an energy, and a length that make you want to return glass after glass. Then came Vibrations 2024 from Domaine Thillardon, a Chénas that is still very young, of course, but already incredibly vibrant. Beautiful tension, energy, and a crisp cherry note that takes us straight back to the heart of Beaujolais and what it does best. Finally, a warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Here, the ambiance is relaxed and unpretentious: you can unwind, eat well, drink well, and above all, take your time. And during a particularly intense work period, it was exactly what we needed. Thank you for the welcome, the service, and this wonderful experience. A place we already want to return to.

20/08/2026: During this family reunion, we enjoyed the frogs' legs: excellent and served piping hot. Others opted for the original bistro menu, sheltered in the barn with a view of the Saône. Very friendly service.

20/08/2026: Passing through, this restaurant was a great find. The menu is small, which is often a sign of good home cooking, and that was certainly the case here. The service was excellent, pleasant, and friendly. Aperitif, daily special, dessert, and coffee were all very reasonably priced. A place to remember! 👍

22/07/2026: A warm welcome despite arriving without a reservation. A very good lunch in a clean and bright space. The staff were very pleasant, smiling, and efficient. The illustrated children's menu was a great help to the little ones when choosing. And the restrooms were spotless.

02/08/2026: Good atmosphere. Quality cuisine, seafood. There was a problem with the reservation; the booking website automatically transferred my reservation to 9:15 PM without warning. The restaurant has two seatings, so it's either 7:30 PM or 9:15 PM, but several diners were waiting for their tables at 9:15 PM. Luckily, I had the foresight to call the restaurant beforehand to reserve a table on the terrace, and they informed me of the new time.

02/08/2026: A very good experience. The wait was a little long (about 40 minutes) but the restaurant was full. The dishes and desserts were delicious and the portions were generous. A perfectly paired fillet of black cod for the main course and a chocolate mousse full of surprises for dessert. The staff is friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend it!

05/09/2026: An absolute disgrace, a total lack of professionalism. I called this place to add a durum to a family order I'd already placed. Right from the start, the guy addressed me informally, even though we're not friends, and then he made a fuss because I was adding "just one durum." Even worse: he dragged his feet and acted difficult when giving me the price, as if he couldn't be bothered to inform the customer, even though it's literally his job. A haughty welcome, an unpleasant tone, and utter contempt. You need to get real: you're a kebab shop, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. Such behavior is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs! I'm adding this as well: I only called you once, so don't lump me in with the others. You are fair and respectful.
