02/07/2026: There were two of us, and we ate the same sandwich, and we both got sick… The connection to the sandwich was quickly made because it was the only thing/place we ate together. I don't know if it was the ingredients or the kitchen hygiene, but it's surprising for a bakery.

18/06/2026: We just finished up a 2.5 week visit, staying in an Airbnb down the street from this boulanger. I would go each morning to get my daily supply of baguettes traditions and Bhaskar croissants and pains au chocolat. Sometimes I'd get one if their sandwiches, salad, or pastries. Everything was fresh and perfectly delicieux!!! And the staff was TOPS!!! I was greeted each morning by a wonderful woman who tolerated my poor French, and spoke clearly and slowly for me. Afternoons, I'd have a sweet girl who would throw in a treat every now and then. They were wonderful and always treated me, am obvious foreigner, with the utmost respect and friendliness!! The only downside was that they were closed on weekend, but we found out that the multiple baguettes could be purchased on Friday and last until they opened again on Monday! I'll miss them and their delicious goodies so much!! MERCI BIEN!!!

02/07/2026: We stayed a night in the room with view of the ocean. Wonderful view with a very nice own terrace and a really friendly and helpful staff. Would come back

04/09/2026: Stumbled upon this restaurant and it was fantastic. Wednesday evening so quiet but lovely ambience, lovely music, fantastic food and very helpful gentleman serving. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

02/09/2026: A wonderful discovery in Thouars! Au Plaisir des Gourmets truly lives up to its name. We had a fantastic time, both enjoying the food and the warm welcome. The dishes are delicious, refined, and prepared with beautiful ingredients. Each plate is beautifully presented, with delightful flavor combinations. A real treat for food lovers! The welcome is warm, friendly, and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. You can feel a genuine passion for their craft and a desire to please their customers. An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will be delighted to return! An excellent restaurant in Thouars.

17/08/2026: After a walk in the hills, we ended up on the terrace of A L'Auberge in La Tagnière. As a result, we had a wonderful Sunday afternoon. We hadn't made a reservation, but fortunately, we were allowed to sit down. The food was honest, beautiful, and very flavorful. The artisanal iced tea was delicious. We also liked the rosé. We had the set menu. At €29.50, it seemed expensive, but for that price, we had three courses that were particularly flavorful. The service was very friendly. Although there was a language barrier because I didn't know a few words in French, everything turned out fine in the end. I highly recommend dining here.

09/07/2026: Down-to-earth, honest cuisine away from the hustle and bustle. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the service is very warm and welcoming. If you're looking for uncomplicated, classic food in an authentic setting, this is the place for you. A very solid inn that we highly recommend! It's not "fine dining," but rather the kind of place where the postman and the policeman eat and celebrate their birthdays – and that's a compliment! ;)

30/04/2026: A great place! Very affordable prices, perfect for a lunch break. Starters are €5.50, main courses €15.50, and desserts €6. Excellent value for money and a very welcoming and friendly staff. I'll be back!

15/09/2026: We just had a wonderful evening at this restaurant located in the port of Cargèse. The owner and his team gave us a very warm welcome. The meal (two set menus at €29 each) was excellent and met all our expectations 👍. We'll be back next year. We highly recommend this lovely place.

31/07/2026: This was a great find. The owners are lovely and proved excellent food and service. It was so good we went back for a second night. I would recommend the seafood linguine but all of us enjoyed our meals on both occasions.

12/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome from the entire team during our lunch on the very comfortable terrace. Kudos to the kitchen staff; our taste buds were delighted with the daily specials: salmon rillettes and mussels au gratin with garlic and parsley, accompanied by a very good white wine, "Les Jamelles Viognier." The bread from the local baker is delicious. Excellent gourmet coffee, with everything homemade. We can't wait to return to this lovely place with our friends.

02/08/2026: Limited selection, which suggests good products. "A bit too vinegary for a starter and not enough meat for the main course, but that depends on individual tastes and appetites." A major drawback is the mayonnaise and ketchup in tubes. It's a shame there's no outdoor seating.
