14/08/2026: As restaurant owners ourselves, at Le Lion des Flandres in Lesquin, we had the pleasure of dining at Le Peses Lait, an unusual place serving Swiss-style roast meats. The food is generous and well-prepared, the service and atmosphere are excellent, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Thank you all!

15/09/2026: Honestly, a frozen pizza would have been better. The crust was both white and hard, the toppings were tasteless and poor quality, and it was only about 20cm instead of the usual 30cm for €17.50. I don't know if the owner has changed since the last reviews, but I definitely do not recommend it.

16/07/2026: Fabulous italian food 😋. The tapas were fabulous with little pizza bites as the bread. Really inexpensive in the heart of Toulouse near the University. Less than €20pp. Delighted that the water was free and plenty of it on a warm night!!

04/09/2026: We had dinner last night at this restaurant, which we booked randomly (after checking the reviews), and it was a wonderful discovery! The food was incredibly delicious and very generous, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definitely return and will recommend it to our friends and family.

01/09/2026: I was walking past Mother India when the wonderful aroma of Indian spices immediately caught my attention. It smelled so inviting that I stopped to look at the menu and then stepped inside for a quick look at the restaurant. I did not have a meal on this occasion, so my review is based only on my first impression of the place. The interior felt warm, colourful, and full of character, with a pleasant atmosphere that suits Indian cuisine very well. The restaurant looked clean and welcoming, and the fragrance coming from the kitchen made the food seem especially tempting. I also spent some time looking through the menu. There appeared to be a good variety of Indian dishes, including starters, tandoori options, rice dishes, naan, and several familiar favourites. The menu was clear and reasonably easy to understand. Although I cannot yet comment on the taste of the food or the table service, the overall first impression was very positive. The atmosphere, interior, and delicious aroma made me interested in returning properly for dinner. I would definitely like to come back and try the food during a future visit.

13/09/2026: The dishes on the menu are pretty good (big shout-out to the Flemish carbonnade, no doubt about it!), the atmosphere is very pleasant (especially on the train, less noise and fewer people, more secluded 😎) and the staff were exceptional when we were there for a birthday :)! It's still a buffet, so there's a lot of food and naturally many dishes are pre-packaged (understandable), but if you want to stuff yourself with family or friends, with an unlimited main course/dessert option, it's the perfect opportunity, I think ✨️

Through her generous, homemade, family-style cuisine, she is driven by the sole desire to delight our taste buds and pamper us. You can taste all the love she puts into her cooking, right down to the smallest detail on your plate. You will never be disappointed, and the value for money is unbeatable. A place that deserves to be known, as does its owner. And if you simply want to enjoy an aperitif, you're also in the right place with its planchas and other small snacks, where you'll meet wonderful people. The only risk is that you'll come back regularly!

26/07/2026: Stopped by for a sweet treat and really enjoyed the bakery’s clean, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. Since it was really hot outside, the air conditioning and comfortable seating were a huge plus. Sometimes happiness is just a blast of cold air from the AC… The staff was polite and welcoming. That said, the restroom could use a bit more attention, and the conversations in the kitchen were loud enough to be heard from the seating area. We ordered the Chou Abricot and the Charlotte Fraise. They looked adorable and tasted fine, but they were a bit too sweet for us. Given Christophe Michalak’s reputation, we were expecting a bigger “wow” moment. We probably just picked the wrong pastries. On such a hot day, we should have chosen ice cream instead. The Ourson Givré will be our target next time!

11/07/2026: We had a wonderful afternoon at the pastry masterclass presented by Elsa and her apprentice Maya. We learned so many interesting things; Elsa explained everything in detail and answered all our questions. At the end, we enjoyed a delicious tasting of the Pavlola, Paris-Brest, and lemon meringue tarts—everything was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely do it again!

24/08/2026: Ordered two pizzas (chicken and Boursin), undercooked crust and not-so-great toppings. I won't be ordering again.
