A warm and welcoming reception, a soothing and intimate atmosphere, a well-thought-out à la carte and set menu, and cuisine featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients—in short, this establishment and its owners deserve a visit and a return trip. Bravo!

11/06/2026: After trying many restaurants in Calvados since we moved here ten years ago, Le Pot d'Etain has become THE go-to spot! Fresh, expertly prepared ingredients, a very friendly and smiling owner... We've never been disappointed, unlike many other places on the Côte Fleurie. Their weekday lunch special (€18) far surpasses anything you could find elsewhere, on par with another establishment... In short, we shouldn't spread the word too much so we can continue to enjoy it! It would be a shame, being practically neighbors!

17/06/2026: Just ok. This is our 3rd night in Paris and this is the last on the list so far. The highlight was the double chocolate mousse. That was excellent. Otherwise the food was not better than any other place nearby. The owner took a bit of advantage of us as well which is annoying. He brought free still water to the table outside (as is typical in Paris, we have not paid for water yet) and instead brought us glass bottled still water and charged 9 euros each bottle. He should be fined for highway robbery. I had a feeling when I saw $16 for a classic Americano beverage that this was that type of place. Really soured the experience. With SO many other great places to go in Paris or even on the island I would not recommend this one. One should be able to enjoy dinner without having to wonder if you’re getting scammed.

Everything is LICKER, more than just good... especially their Thai chicken, hummus, vegan dishes, carrot cake, and... the list goes on... I really enjoyed the warm welcome and service from the three charming young women today. I've been a fan of this food since 2024. Impressive and beautiful tattoos too... 😉🙂 Another one saved my life 💪💪 with a simple bandage 😊😊 or my finger 😄 after a cut... In short, great energy from the whole team, especially two blondes (one of whom I helped clear a table on a Monday after some clueless tourists left their trash behind 👎👎👎) and of course the lovely tattooed brunette who manages/trains 👏👏👏👏. 26/05/2026: Great location, friendly staff, and a fantastic breakfast. This is our second time here, which says a lot. The restaurant is also excellent, but it's not open every day. It's best to check beforehand. Reserving a table is recommended.

25/06/2026: A culinary disaster!!! What you see on social media isn't reality. Honestly, I've been eating kebabs for over 25 years, both industrially produced and homemade. I ordered a simple flatbread with harissa mayo, and the taste was disappointing. The meat was dry and overcooked with a strong curry or other spice flavor. Stop this nonsense! At €10 a meal, respect your customers. Even a frozen kebab would be better. Frankly, I'm disappointed.
