18/09/2024: Very good time! Perfect little coffee shop next to the Saint Martin canal, the chocolate cake was super good, very soft and chocolatey and the homemade lemonade was also very refreshing!
18/09/2024: As a born and bred coffee snob from Melbourne Australia, I found it really difficult to find good coffee in France, but I finally found this place and it's fantastic!

14/11/2024: Un accueil très décevant et pas sympathique du tout. Nous étions un groupe, la salle étant très petite, nous étions très mal installés. Le service est manquant et sans sourire. Les pizzas sont bonnes heureusement mais bon !!

19/08/2024: Dernière fois que nous irons à ce resto! On commande deux menus à 21€, en entrée tranche de foie, cœur de volaille raisin, sauce armagnac. Le serveur ous amène les plats en les présentant "vos terrines madame, monsieur"! Nous lui disons s que ce n'était pas ce que nous avions commandé, nous attendons l'entrée (tranche de foie, cœur de volaille....). Réponse : c'est la même chose! Bon je dis rien, le vin arrive, la serveuse la porte sous le bras
, la secoue, et casse le bouchon en l'ouvrant !
Puis le burger effilé de bœuf chedard . Gras indigeste, comme les frites d'ailleurs, que je n'ai même pas fini!!
Bref resto à éviter, sûrement qu'il profite de la fermeture le lundi du marché de i tor Hugo et de ses restes.
16/08/2024: Excellent discovery on the recommendation of a friend. We had the cassoulet and the duck leg confit and both dishes were delicious in addition to being beautifully presented.

06/07/2025: A small travesty that the store isn't named "Buns and Roses". In spite of that the paris brest pastry is delicious. Light, creamy, and not too sweet. The crunchy pralines really added something special.

the waitresses are smiling and pleasant. the burger was very good. the music is a little loud for my taste, it is sometimes difficult to hear yourself. 😉
05/09/2024: Me and my daughter had a great time. My daughter had a burger and I had a fish and ships. I was spoiled, because I had 2 pieces of fish, soft, a treat. I can't wait to go back. The service staff is very nice.

28/11/2024: We recently had dinner in a charming chalet where we tasted pierade. The atmosphere was really great, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. However, the service did not meet our expectations. When we asked for duck, we were kindly informed that it was beef or nothing. This tarnished our experience a bit. Despite this, the pie was delicious and the setting was definitely worth it. I recommend this restaurant for the ambiance, but I hope they improve their service in the future.
Don’t hesitate to adjust the details according to your feelings!

15/12/2024: I called 30 minutes before the end of the service to reserve and yet we were received for lunch: the dishes were carefully prepared with a touch of originality, the wine list was tempting, the fire in the fireplace was very pleasant for a very pleasant atmosphere. cocooning, thank you for everything!
11/12/2024: The place is very pleasant and warm. I appreciated the service although I found the waiter a little impatient with our choice, despite the restaurant being empty when we ordered.
The real problem is that we ordered two prime ribs as a main course, and both were full of gristle. In addition, they were very poorly seasoned, mine in particular, and I felt like I was eating watered meat. I point out that after complaining we were offered a coffee or an aperitif, with the excuse that we both came across a bad piece.
We are very disappointed to have spent €34 on a menu to treat ourselves to a restaurant that was recommended to us, only to end up with poor quality meat, apparently without checking before our service (which makes me think it's always like this) and almost without seasoning.
The Saint-Émilion wine was very good.
The rest of the dishes were ok, but nothing exceptional, and didn't justify the price either. I also suspect that certain important things were not prepared at home, such as the side dishes and even the starters (vegetable tarts and fish soup). Correct me if I'm wrong.
Maybe it's just a bad move, but I don't recommend it at all.

14/09/2024: We went there last night for the first time, very pleasant welcome, cozy atmosphere, nice decor.
My son and his sweetheart had the mussels marinière and the mussels with maroilles, my partner the roast camembert and I the Ch'ti burger. We had a great time 😁
I recommend!!
