04/09/2026: A very disappointing experience at Chez Loulou. I had read the reviews, seen the pictures and was really looking forward to this meal. We went for lunch and tried the formule. I ordered the steak and my mom ordered the lamb shoulder. For the starter, we got an egg in jelly which was incredibly salty. The steak was almost impossible to chew and was obviously of a cheap cut which did not have great flavour. The fries were sweet. My mom's lamb had a greyish color and a very unpleasant taste as well. I'm not sure if we were just unlucky with our experience or if we ordered the wrong thing but we left without touching most of our plate and before we received dessert. The service was nice and the atmosphere on the patio was pleasant but we will not be returning and cannot recommend.

The welcome was as warm as the setting itself, which is magnificent and inviting. The service and atmosphere were impeccable – congratulations! The Savoyard fondue was excellent, and the children's menu was also very good. Our son Jules was spoiled with his delicious dessert, the tiramisu, which is his favorite. Second: the service is pleasant and attentive, with just the right touch of humor. Third: the chef and server are very attentive to food allergies. They know what they're cooking/serving and can therefore advise and adapt the menu accordingly. You feel valued, which isn't always the case elsewhere. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening and meal.

The setting is ideal, the service is always excellent even when it's busy, and the food is simply outstanding. The team is young and always attentive, and there's an adjoining room that makes for a more intimate atmosphere. Thank you again! I highly recommend it.
