17/03/2026: On vacation from April 29th to May 3rd, 2024. In Douai on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 I found myself at Le Pré Vert where I ordered: - 1 non-alcoholic cocktail: Orange, pineapple, grenadine, lemon --> €6 - Maroilles cheese toast --> €6.80 - Flemish carbonnade --> €15 - Raspberry sabayon --> €6.80 For a total of €34.60, very good value for money. The owner is helpful if needed, a warm welcome, good advice, nice presentation, and delicious. There was little waiting time. The sauce was extraordinary: smooth, flavorful, and well-rounded. The waiter knew the menu very well and was happy to answer any questions. One small drawback: only one non-alcoholic cocktail, but that's normal in the North = beer.

We visited you for the first time on March 3rd (a table of 15). Everyone was very satisfied, and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you for everything, don't change a thing! See you soon!

11/03/2026: Romantic dinner during a ski holiday. Ground-floor premises with a lovely terrace for drinks. Tasteful, slightly kitschy decor (old skis and teapots on the wall), with lighting effects. The tables are well-spaced, and it's quiet. Reservations are essential, as this restaurant is often full. The welcome was very attentive and professional. Modern menu on a tablet with photos of the dishes. The service was quick and efficient. Excellent mountain fondue. It's the resort's upscale restaurant, so the bill was a bit hefty, but the prices are displayed, so you know what to expect. One suggestion: perhaps label the dishes with allergens, especially since the chef uses nuts in the salad dressing and desserts. Overall, a very good experience.

09/03/2026: For several years now, we've enjoyed ending our stay at this restaurant. Once again, last Saturday, we had a wonderful meal, apart from the champagne which wasn't up to the price. The staff was very friendly. The major drawback was the owner who ignored us throughout the evening, completely indifferent to our table. Not even a goodbye; we left on our own, something that hadn't happened in previous years. Disappointed.

There was virtually no wait, and the service was perfectly paced. The food was top-notch, the portions generous, a real treat.

05/03/2026: Un restaurant où les plats sont confectionnés avec inventivité tout en restant abordables en termes de prix (moins de 32 euros pour une entrée, plat de résistance et dessert). Le mobilier est moderne et joli. Mais comme les salles ne sont pas très grandes, il est important de réserver pour avoir une place.

14/03/2026: For some time now, I've only gone to this bakery when I need something. I initially discovered it completely by chance while browsing the internet, when I was looking for one that made crookies! Everything here is delicious: bread, pastries, cakes, and savory snacks. There's a good selection, the shop is well-maintained, and the staff is attentive and helpful. I can't imagine going anywhere else!
