23/03/2026: Despite a slight hiccup with our reservation upon arrival, the team at Soleil Levant quickly and professionally resolved the situation. For our large group celebrating a big birthday on Friday evening, they rearranged the entire terrace without hesitation, moving tables and chairs to ensure we were comfortable. A special mention goes to Gilles, or Gilou as his friends call him, who welcomed us as if we were family. And what a lovely surprise that glass of champagne was offered to accompany our birthday cakes! A huge thank you to the entire team for making this an unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back! 🥂🎂

14/05/2026: We were seated upstairs. The restaurant is a 2-minute walk from the République metro station in Paris. We ordered before arriving and it was ready 20 minutes later. Quite reasonable for an African restaurant, especially since we ordered two fish dishes out of our three orders. The meal was excellent and generous, at very affordable prices. As for the decor, the restaurant is a bit dated and could use a good renovation. I recommend it; it's a great place. Thanks to my friend for the recommendation.

02/04/2026: We absolutely loved it! 🤍 We came last night for takeout, as we were pressed for time before catching our bus, and the manager did everything he could to make sure we left on time. Such kindness and exceptional service are truly rare! On top of that, the meal was absolutely incredible, a real treat from start to finish. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. We are so happy with this experience, and we wanted to say so: if you're hesitating about trying this restaurant, please... don't hesitate any longer!

11/04/2026: This is a delightful , rustic looking restaurant. We ate here recently and the food was delicious. I had the most amazing fresh fish that was caught locally. The staff were amazing as well , they welcomed us in even though we turned up close to closing time.
