29/08/2026: Great restaurant & excellent food. The value for money is frankly unbeatable, especially during this time of year and the holiday season. We ate there with friends for the Saint Louis celebration. The servers quickly set up three tables for us, the service was fast, and the food was excellent! The macaronade was perfect 🥰 A complimentary digestif was offered at the end of the meal. Great atmosphere, friendly servers. Thank you for the warm welcome. I highly recommend it 🥳

18/08/2026: After a few days in Lyon eating at some delicious restaurants, we were recommended Armada, but I have to say we were very disappointed. The food was nothing special; we ordered a rib that was incredibly dry and tasteless. I had to ask for extra sauce to make it acceptable. The service wasn't very friendly, the water wasn't cold, and it was very hot inside. I'm really sorry about the bad experience, especially since so many people hadn't recommended it. I don't know if it was because it was August and the staff wasn't very experienced, or if it was just an off day.

18/08/2026: I am a regular customer of this establishment where the owners and staff are exceptionally kind. Recently this cafe has changed owners, who are just as friendly as the previous ones; we haven't lost out. I am still a customer of Damien and Elise, who are exceptionally kind, as is the waitress.

31/07/2026: A superb place! I come several times a week for a mint lemonade or a meal. The owners and staff are exceptional. The food is good, with decent portions. I highly recommend it.

24/07/2026: Delicious, very kind manager. For the first time in my life, when I asked to remove an item I didn't like, I was immediately offered to replace it with something else, at no extra cost.

16/07/2026: Tried it on a sweltering day, so it wasn't very busy. The basic ramen menu ranges from €13 to €16 and includes meat and a Tamago egg, which is quite affordable compared to other ramen places. The meat is incredibly tender. The ramen itself is fairly true to what you'd find in Japan. The broth has a rather strong flavor, which might be surprising. Overall, it's good ramen, but not my favorite. The service is excellent, and it's simply amazing that everything is managed by a single person.

06/09/2026: Really enjoyed the atmosphere. A bit hidden, very unique Interieur, that gave a feeling of personality to the room. Service was a bit mixed: The waiter was absolutely friendly and helpful, but one person was just not enough to keep up. Therefore waiting times, especially towards payment, were too long. Enjoyed the menu. It was mostly fairly simplistic, but convinced with fresh and tasty ingredients. What tipped the scale to good rather than very good was the meat quality in the main course and the slightly unimaginative desert. Yet: All critics on a high level. Pricing was very fair. To me derrière is more a 4,5, but just not exceptional enough for 5.

05/09/2026: Returning a year later. The setting, thankfully, remains unchanged. There's still the constant flow of people between the two kitchens across the central room. The library is preferable. Significant progress has been made in the dishes. The ingredients are still exceptional, treated with creativity and mastery. The blending has evolved, achieving perfect balance. A minor criticism of the tapenade amuse-bouche; it was overpowering, a shame given the otherwise exquisite flavors. Three wines by the glass: the first an excellent Moselle, the second forgotten, the third an exceptional Syrah from the Ardèche paired with veal tenderloin. This was changed to a Bourgogne Ropitot, excellent, but still too powerful for the dish. The finesse and freshness of a Moselle Pinot Noir would have been more appropriate. The vanilla-strawberry dessert was excellent, perfectly timed for mirabelle plum season. The third wine, again the same sweet Côtes de Gascogne, was uninteresting. A late-harvest Moselle would have been wonderful. Excellent value for money. A curious lack of interest in deserving Moselle winemakers. Until next time.

31/07/2026: The pasta was rock hard, and it was burnt to a crisp. I'm so stupid, I didn't even check the reviews before ordering. Anyway, I don't even need to say anything, I threw it all away. It was absolutely disgusting. I should have just made homemade pasta. I'm so bummed. That'll teach me. I'll take this as a punishment. I can't imagine what the pizzas must be like if they mess up just plain white pasta with cheese and a little bit of cream. It's so f***ing!

06/08/2026: Zero service... leaving about twenty people waiting in the entrance hall for 20 minutes, avoiding eye contact, only to say in a rather nonchalant manner: "Sorry, we can't accommodate you for dinner, we're overwhelmed." The business needs a serious overhaul.

05/08/2026: Apart from the dead spider in my salad, the rest was good. But I pointed it out, they reported it to the kitchen, and we weren't even offered a coffee or any kind of gesture. You pay your bill. If they could have charged us the table next door, they would have.
