18/08/2026: What a disappointment!! We were expecting a tasting menu worthy of a fine dining establishment with this six-course tasting menu! Disappointed for several reasons: There was no cohesive theme between the courses, some dishes had no particular flavor, notably the watermelon and mackerel combination, and the meat was very tough to chew… The wine offered by the glass was of mediocre quality, and there were no sweet wines available except Muscat! The dishes were described automatically and extremely quickly, making them almost incomprehensible! The chef was having fun in the kitchen with his assistants, drinking a mixture that was half-spit out into the sink (visible from the outside table). The only positive points were the amuse-bouches and the desserts. This restaurant seems overrated and does not deserve the ratings given!!

12/08/2026: It had been a long time since I'd eaten so well! I had a truly wonderful culinary experience! Each course arrived at the table with an explanation, and the same went for the wine, which was perfectly recommended! Thank you to the whole team! I highly recommend it.

31/08/2026: Excellent stay, very good value for money. The setting is superb, the room comfortable (good bedding), the breakfast plentiful and varied, the half-board excellent (different dishes are offered every day, all very good and generous; the price of half-board is very reasonable considering the quantity and quality). And the staff are very pleasant. A fond memory of the Dordogne.

22/08/2026: Beautiful setting, but poor soundproofing The location is very pleasant, nestled in lush greenery, ideal for unwinding. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfectly clean. The major drawback is the noise level: the soundproofing is poor, doors slam constantly, and the air conditioning is very noisy. Absolutely avoid the rooms at the top of the stairs, unless you want to endure constant noise between 7 and 9 a.m. As for meals, breakfast is very basic (industrial pastries, average cold cuts). However, the hotel restaurant more than makes up for this by offering high-quality gourmet dishes. A place with a superb setting and excellent cuisine, but marred by the noise.

05/06/2026: After my visit today, I have to change my opinion. I used to love it; everything was always spotless, the staff was pleasant, etc. I went there very regularly. But this was the last time I'd ever set foot in the place. Unbelievable. We're disappointed by the change of ownership. There were mistakes with the orders: first, three-quarters of them were missing, then we were given too much. We received dishes we hadn't ordered, some people had to wait a long time for their orders, instead of six spring rolls we ended up with about fifteen, and the same with the ravioli instead of eight. Initially served in portions of four, we were given three, then bombarded with ravioli without understanding why. I turned around and saw the waiter behind the counter with an orange iPhone pointed at me, and once he caught me, he didn't take his eyes off me until I left. Very awkward at the time. We ordered a 15cl carafe of sake, as usual, but were brought a small glass. We pointed out the mistake, and they said, "There's none left, wait, I'll bring you a second glass." They brought us an empty glass, "so you can share it"???????? €5.50 for half a sip each??? After thinking about it, I should mention that they offered the sake for free. I'd say that's the least they could do. As for the quality of the food, it has changed drastically.... Very disappointed. The noodles have turned into spaghetti. Everything was very dry. I know the restaurant is going to change. Regarding the previous owners, it's a shame to see you leave. I should also mention that the person who was with me today left feeling unwell. For a moment, I seriously thought it was a hidden camera prank, but absolutely not. This meal was worthy of a comedy sketch, but it was the last time I'd eat there.

02/07/2026: An exceptional address in the heart of the 6th arrondissement. We were delighted by the quality of the dishes, which were as beautiful as they were delicious. Special mention goes to the meltingly tender eggplant sprinkled with parmesan shavings and enhanced by a flavorful herb oil. Everything was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. A memorable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

31/07/2026: This is exactly the kind of place you go to a restaurant for. We had a wonderful time there as a family. The setting is undeniably magnificent, and the service and welcome were perfect. The Southwestern cuisine was excellent (wood pigeon, duck leg, etc.). All this at an excellent price. We had been coming to Seignosse for several years without ever having tried this restaurant. That oversight has now been rectified.
