08/07/2026: The main courses were disappointing. The shrimp wontons as an appetizer were delicious, but the fish as a main course was incredibly ordinary and slightly fishy. The truffle fresco had no truffle flavor whatsoever! If you're a truffle lover, you're unlikely to accept this pasta. The banana cake for dessert was good, and the grilled crepe was creative and interesting.

30/06/2026: I'm on a trip to Europe from Buffalo, New York. I didn't think I wanted food beforehand, and since the food wasn't expensive, I had a bite. The Snails were amazing! I was an ignorant American tourist, so I didn't know how to eat it but once I figured it out I loved it.

17/06/2026: A group of 13 motorcyclists for 3 nights Booked in December Upon arrival, our room key was thrown onto the counter without explanation, and we were put up in the pilgrims' hostel! We were surprised by a minimalist room, especially considering it was the same price as a hotel room! There was no gesture of goodwill from the owner, who, without competent and attentive staff, might have to close his establishment. So, very disappointed with this experience. On the other hand, the food was perfect. Sir, a welcoming smile would have been appreciated by everyone. Best of luck.

09/06/2026: We live in the next village, and yet last night was our first time at the Hôtel des Grottes restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, and I was very pleasantly surprised to have a duck breast cooked exactly as I requested, which never happens in other restaurants. But above all, we want to thank our waiter, Lucas, who, in addition to being very professional, is incredibly kind and generous. A real gem! We can't wait to eat at this establishment again.

16/03/2026: We came this weekend with our 3-year-old son. It was excellent! We had the truffle fondue... It was simply incredible! The two waitresses were amazing, incredibly kind, especially with children. Thank you! 😘

23/06/2026: Just okay. Elaborate French cuisine, but lacking charisma. Dishes that were off-center, lackluster, bland, and lacking in effort... We tried the entire menu: both tasting menus, in their two variations. No dish stood out, rather errors in plate design and preparation: impossible flavors, poorly achieved textures, badly executed techniques... There's a lot of culinary work missing here. Aside from that, an enviable location, a beautiful, spacious, and well-decorated restaurant, good service... And the house wine was spectacular!

04/06/2026: A warm and bohemian dining room decor, a professional, friendly, smiling, welcoming, and kind waitress, a new menu for our first night, beautiful and carefully prepared food, ample portions for a set menu, perfectly cooked, and a very friendly chef—truly nothing to complain about, and thank you for the wonderful evening we spent together. 31/05/2026: Quality isn't everything, unfortunately...the reception by the brunette waitress needs to be reviewed; she's not pleasant at all...I think she would be more at home in a reception center for the blind, deaf and mute.

25/05/2026: Meh. The waitress forgot about friendliness and smiles, especially considering her attire. You'd think you were in a roadside diner or a cheap cafe. Visible tattoos in short shorts—nothing wrong, of course, but to each their own. Please, smile! Atmosphere: Well, there are parasols to shelter from the sun, and the noise from the kitchen reaches the terrace, which is pleasant enough. Food: Nothing extraordinary, but okay. Average in every way, so I dared to contradict my predecessors with an average rating. The bread came straight from the freezer... and it shows. Ouch.

18/05/2026: On the recommendation of a previous customer, we went as a family to this pizzeria, whose charming entrance is unassuming. Once you step inside, you discover a lovely downstairs area with plenty of tables and shade. We went with the children, and what a pleasant surprise to find a dedicated play area for them with games available! As for the food, we enjoyed some delicious pizzas 🍕! Each one better than the last! Truly excellent, it was flawless! The chef even made pizzas shaped like teddy bears and cats for the children, which was a lovely touch! The service was also impeccable, friendly and attentive. If you want to have a good time in a quiet place and enjoy a delicious meal, look no further! I highly recommend it! See you soon!

05/07/2026: Disappointed by your lack of professionalism. After claiming you had tried to reach us (which was false), you cancelled our reservation under the pretext of a 15-minute delay. A convenient excuse to close early? It's a shame, because hospitality and transparency are just as important as the food. In the future, don't confirm anything for 9:30 PM if you can't manage it… 5 tourists visiting Lyon; Luckily there are plenty of other nice places in Lyon!

04/07/2026: We had lunch today at 12:30 pm in this traditional Lyonnais restaurant, and what a wonderful discovery! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional kindness and warmth. The staff is incredibly attentive, the owners are equally welcoming, and the entire team, from the cooks to the chef, is passionate and dedicated to their customers. The food is simply outstanding. Generous portions, perfectly prepared, with authentic flavors that truly surprised us. Each dish is a real treat and demonstrates genuine expertise. The service is impeccable: quick, attentive, friendly, and highly professional. Frankly, it's flawless! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation. For us, it's a perfect 20/20! A huge thank you to the entire team for this delightful and convivial experience. We will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover a true Lyonnais bouchon where you feel right at home.

08/07/2026: Having never visited Arles, we stopped at Chez Wilson restaurant. The warm weather made us tempted by a summer salad with burrata and pesto. What can I say! A true delight, and the pesto and burrata combination was simply wonderful. Kudos to the chef for this wonderful blend of flavors! We'll be back.
