22/03/2026: What a wonderful discovery! This restaurant was nestled in the countryside on my way to Bordeaux! The food was fresh, and the portions were generous and delicious from appetizer to dessert. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Excellent value for money... I'll definitely be stopping by every time I'm in the area! Just be aware of their opening hours. Congratulations on your cooking and hospitality! 🙏

The prices are very reasonable considering what's served. Don't hesitate to make a slight detour to enjoy delicious food and good cheer.

29/03/2026: The pizzas are fantastic! Perfectly cooked, homemade hot sauce, reasonable price, and a short wait—everything you could want! The pizzas are generously topped and delicious; I highly recommend them!

05/03/2026: My usual crêperie was full, and I stumbled upon this timeless restaurant tucked away in a courtyard near the Quimper train station. Everything seems frozen in the 80s/90s: spacious tables, period decor, a welcoming waiter with his lanyard draped over his arm, a wine list binder with photos and descriptions of the wines and their producing regions, Tavel served in an ice bucket with glasses regularly refilled 😳 The food is simple, homemade, and delicious. Wines are reasonably priced and mostly available by the half-bottle. A very pleasant surprise that I will gladly return to.

16/01/2026: Le Patio is a restaurant that deserves to be better known. Almost invisible from the main avenue near the train station, it's tucked away in a small courtyard (hence the name "Patio") and you have to pass under an archway to reach it. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, thanks in large part to the yellow color scheme and the wooden furniture. We were greeted by a gentleman, a most charming and pleasant man. His attire was impeccable: black trousers, a white shirt, a black waistcoat, and a bow tie. You'd think you were in a grand Parisian or Lyonnaise brasserie. I complimented him on that! As for the food, it's all fresh and prepared on-site, with about five or six appetizers to choose from, two daily specials: one fish of the day, one meat of the day, and about five or six desserts, including a cheese plate. The prices for the meal, aperitifs, and wine list are very reasonable... Don't go there to show off; you won't be seen from the station avenue. Go there to enjoy a pleasant time around a lovely, home-style table, in a warm and peaceful setting, with impeccable service. I absolutely recommend it and will return on my next trip to Quimper.

21/04/2026: A beautiful, historic site located on the banks of the Canal de la Robine. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Moulin de Gua is well worth a visit. Enjoy watching boats go by while dining on the outdoor terrace. This restaurant is tastefully decorated and offers refined and delicious cuisine. Free parking is available next to the restaurant, and overnight accommodation is also offered. I highly recommend this restaurant for a convivial and enjoyable experience.

18/04/2026: A truly wonderful discovery on the banks of the Canal de la Robine 🌿 This restaurant, taken over a few months ago by Chef Mickael, is definitely worth a visit. The setting is simply exceptional, right by the lock, with a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to disconnect. As for the cuisine, it's top-notch: fresh, local, and seasonal produce, expertly prepared. The €30 lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert) with two choices at each course offers excellent value. A more elaborate menu is also available for €40. Special mention goes to the fish, cooked to perfection in its pearly white state, and to the chocolate dessert… absolutely remarkable. The chef's experience, gained in prestigious establishments like La Table de Saint Crescent and La Cantine d’Anatole, is evident in the dishes: sincere, generous cuisine, without unnecessary frills. Finally, the service is impeccable: attentive, friendly, and perfectly in keeping with the ambiance. An address I recommend without hesitation.

High-quality bread and pastries (by far the best in my opinion), a truly remarkable pastry chef, and a smiling, attentive, and helpful sales assistant make this bakery a place that delights our taste buds! Thank you for your excellent work.

07/05/2026: The saleswoman was really unpleasant!! I ordered a vegetarian sandwich and a pear and almond tartlet, but I ended up with a chicken sandwich and an apple tartlet, which I'm allergic to! It's a real shame because the owner and the rest of the staff are very pleasant. I'm disappointed because I'm a regular customer at this bakery, and it's not the first time this saleswoman has been unpleasant.

21/04/2026: The sign on the storefront says the dining room closes at 11:30 PM, but in reality, the dining room closes at 11:00 PM and the rest of the time it's done via drive-thru. This has happened twice now, it's unacceptable!

11/04/2026: Fantastic all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There's a wide variety of choices, and everything we tried was delicious. We had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend it!

22/04/2026: Returning after 5 years (October 2021). Still perfect! We indulged in the finest dishes, but everything was perfectly portioned and exquisitely prepared. The staff were incredibly attentive, even though it was very busy. And the sight of the ships was as spectacular as ever. This time, we saw two magnificent sailing vessels, one of which was the Belem.

21/04/2026: Lunch for Mother's Day, excellent meal, super friendly welcome, top-notch waiter, we really enjoyed it, I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back!! Plus, there was a small parade while we were at our table.

01/05/2026: The noise is deafening! It's understandable that the waiters aren't as cheerful and efficient as they used to be. Back in the days of the English lady perched on her stool... One wonders if the employees aren't developing stress-related illnesses from this noise level! What is the labor inspectorate doing?
