A very warm welcome, superb rooms with a lovely view!
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant!
So, to add to my review from October, the welcome is still as warm and friendly as ever, the place is still as pleasant, but what more can I say about the meal I was just served than that it was one of my most memorable culinary experiences!
29/03/2026: Excellent cuisine served in a magnificent setting with a beautiful view of the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenees, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. We highly recommend it.

13/08/2026: The owner was very unfriendly. There were no tables outside, and you couldn't choose which one you wanted inside. In short, we left.

02/06/2026: This restaurant has a beautiful garden with well-spaced tables. It's located in the central area of Compiègne, a small town I recommend visiting if you're interested in French history. Right next door is France's third-largest state-owned forest. A typically French restaurant, reasonably priced for lunch, but a bit more expensive in the evening. For those seeking a romantic or high-end experience.
31/05/2026: We stayed here on a business trip; the food and rooms were truly excellent. The hotel garden had a lovely, nostalgic feel and a wonderful atmosphere.

03/05/2026: We came to the Auberge des Gorges du Loup after booking lunch with a Wonderbox voucher. A special menu was available for the voucher with several options. It was excellent, and we had a wonderful time. The homemade bitter orange wine was superb. The staff were very kind, efficient, and attentive. Nothing but positive things to say, so well done and thank you! JPS

18/04/2026: Service, food, and attention to detail, only surpassed by the beauty of the mountains it sits in. Fantastic stay in the final week of the season. Ski in and out and free bus service up and down the mountain. Staff were impeccable.
16/04/2026: Directly onto and off the ski slopes. Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. Delicious evening buffet. Good value for money. Decent room. Free coffee, tea, and water. Beautiful view and terrace. Top-notch sauna and pool. The only minor downside is the lack of chargers for electric cars.

11/09/2026: I prefer restaurants with a small menu. Which usually means fresh ingredients and well executed. This was the case here. Every course was very good.
11/09/2026: Food was very nice. The poached egg with green beans was amazing. Forgot to take a picture, it was long gone when we thought about it. Then I had the duck, which was cooked perfectly. Price versus quality was very good. All dishes also came out very quickly, which we like :)

There were six of us, each ordering different dishes, and no one was disappointed.
And young man, come to Alsace; you'll see it's not cold there (in summer, of course...) and it's very beautiful.

22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The staff were incredibly friendly, smiling, and attentive. The portions were generous and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals (pizzas, salads, and steak tartare), and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

The value for money is unbeatable. If you're looking for a good pizzeria for an evening with friends or for takeout, you can go there without hesitation.
