28/06/2026: Very disappointing. I hadn't been to La Chaumière for a year. I first noticed the overall price drop on the menu. A pleasant surprise at first, but one that unfortunately masked some serious shortcomings. The service was slow, even though there were only three tables. The waiter, while trying to be friendly, clearly struggled to keep up with our orders. The starter (the spring salad) at €13 consisted of mixed greens, burrata, and four peas... Yes, four, as if a fifth would have ruined the restaurant. The main course was more substantial and enjoyable, but the major problem was the sauce. Thickened with flour, in my opinion, without any prior preparation (I ordered a rack of roast pork with a rosemary sauce that had a strong floury taste). It's a shame to have such a thick, watery sauce for dry meat that it doesn't penetrate the meat. The dessert wasn't a failure, the crème flambée au noon (the signature dessert of La Chaumière). The digestif was offered, which I appreciated, but I would have preferred it to be chargeable to help fund higher-quality cuisine. I won't get my money's worth since, in reality, I wasn't the one paying (thanks, friends!). Prices have generally dropped from €4 to €10 per person for à la carte dishes (which works out to around €45 per person), but I'm not satisfied. Disappointed to have lost this place I loved in Poissy. I sincerely hope this restaurant will reinvent itself and not remain a shadow of its former self.

13/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant overlooking the sea. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and it shows in every bite. The mussels were delicious, perfectly cooked, and the fries were excellent, just like the ones we have back home in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly great find during our stay in Brittany. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

07/07/2026: Fantastic pizza and an incredibly nice atmosphere! The fresh ingredients and authentic taste made the meal really special. The staff were friendly, welcoming and gave us a wonderful experience. We are visiting from Norway and this is without a doubt a place we would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience – we will be back!

28/06/2026: The pizza chef, who served us from the moment we arrived until we paid, was overworked but very friendly. The pizza was cooked right in front of us, and the crayfish ravioli gratin was wonderful.

22/06/2026: The welcome was very good, but I've known the restaurant for quite some time and I find that the portions are smaller than before and the quality has declined. There's no air conditioning; we ate with flies buzzing around us because the doors were open due to the heat. A little disappointed.

14/07/2026: We are always delighted to visit this superb little tea room. The view over Villeneuve is splendid, the menu is excellent, but the best part is the welcome! We are always very well received and have become regulars. We 100% recommend Goûthé&Piano for a little escape from the daily grind.

15/04/2026: I drove past this place two years ago, and made a mental note to visit. Drove past it last weekend and fulfilled my wish. After many years in France, and many fish and chips meals, this is the BEST I've ever had here. Simple decor but with food like this, you don't need extravagant soundings. Estelle and Ben were really friendly and a joy to meet. My kids and I had fish and chips obviously and were not disappointed. The only place I have been to, offering both brown sauce AND malt vinegar as condiments! A true rarity. My partner (Normandy origins) was very happy with a burger topped with camembert. Finished the meal with a sticky toffee pudding, again a joy and rarity to have. If your British and want a true taste of home, stop by here. Et, si vous êtes français et voudrais goût le vrai plat de fish and chips, c'est l'endroit où venir

19/04/2026: The welcome was excellent (friendly and smiling). The galettes were crispy and very tasty. The crêpes were delicious (with homemade whipped cream). I highly recommend it.

21/02/2026: We arrived a little late for lunch at 9 am. The welcome was incredible, the service very pleasant. Thank you for all the smiles. We enjoyed some delicious food while watching the Olympics... We would have loved to stay longer, but the holidays are over! See you soon.
