31/08/2026: The setting is magical. The establishment is beautiful and well-maintained. We appreciated the cloth tablecloths and napkins. The decor is pleasant. The food is well-presented and of high quality. However, the prices are unjustified and seem designed more to select a clientele.

29/08/2026: We went to this restaurant on a Friday evening, having booked an hour in advance.
Despite a long wait, due to the fact that there were many takeaway pizzas available at the same time, we left satisfied.
We were glad we waited... a lovely Niçoise salad and a delicious pizza. The staff was very welcoming.
If you're looking for good quality pizzas, you've come to the right place.

The thin-crust pizzas are delicious, even if they have very little crème fraîche on the base…
Note: when ordering takeout, we asked for merguez sausage, which was charged to the bill but not added to the pizza (we didn't ask for it because it was already late).

02/08/2026: EXCELLENT in every way!!! The menu was limited, but the quality and freshness were extraordinary. The service was impeccable, efficient, professional, and lovely, even during the busy Lake Festival. We will be back.
22/07/2026: We randomly chose a restaurant. A man at the entrance looked us up and down and said we needed to make a reservation. The restaurant was completely empty; there was only one other person dining.

However, the wait time for dine-in customers exceeded forty minutes, with a significant gap between the first and subsequent dishes. The kitchen was overwhelmed, and both dine-in customers and delivery drivers were dissatisfied. Kitchen staffing needs to take this situation into account.

30/08/2026: La Taverne in Daon is the place to go if you're looking for authentic and generous food. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it from the first bite.
Their crêpes are delicious, the wood-fired meat is a real treat, and I especially recommend the snails, which are simply divine.
The welcome is warm and the setting is perfect for a great time. Go for it without hesitation!
17/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Taverne de Daon. The sausages were delicious and served with exquisite fries, absolutely perfect and crispy. A special mention goes to the fresh green beans with butter – an absolute treat! All washed down with a good bottle of sweet cider. The ideal place for a delicious meal; we highly recommend it, and the value for money is unbeatable.

I had a great time at my concert in the balcony.

The restaurant is always spotless, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the servers are always smiling, welcoming, and incredibly friendly.
It's truly a sure thing, a restaurant we return to without hesitation and where we're never disappointed. After all these years, it's still just as good! ❤️
