12/04/2026: For me, the best bakery in the area. The cakes are excellent (personal special mention for the chocolate éclair). The pastries are generous and delicious. The sandwiches are unbeatable. I know people who come all the way from Ancenis to buy cakes. 🍰🎂
04/04/2026: Of the three cakes, the strawberry tartlet was clearly not fresh: the pastry was soggy and soaked in custard! It's a shame, especially on a Saturday when you have guests... I'm a regular customer at this bakery; they should at least inform customers so they can make an informed choice. I'm available to discuss this further.

13/05/2026: I don't understand the reviews.
We went because it had good reviews,
but it was a huge disappointment.
The oysters were broken, so there were lots of little pieces inside.
The mussels: a small bowl without fries.
So we ordered a bowl of fries: frozen.
As for the sugar crepes for dessert, I have the impression they were microwaved and not freshly made.
So even with this three-course meal, we were still hungry.

26/03/2026: At the English Bar, the servers are all very friendly, especially Christophe, who stands out for his kindness and professionalism.
I don't know the name of every server, but Chafik is also one of the very friendly and professional staff at the English Bar!

Special mention goes to the sole meunière and the mussels, perfectly cooked, as well as the linguine with salmon, a real treat. The service is top-notch, attentive and friendly. A place to recommend without hesitation!

11/04/2026: Looking for a family-run restaurant opposite Sainte Catherine Church with exceptionally high-quality fish (salmon, fish kebabs, etc.) and seafood platters, homemade mayonnaise, crème brûlée, homemade tarts, and more, all at very reasonable prices? Then go for it without hesitation! Sitting on the terrace overlooking Place Sainte Catherine is a real bonus, as it's only accessible to pedestrians.

The service is good. The only downsides are that for a €23 burger, it would have been nice to have homemade fries instead of frozen ones, the pizza was very floury, and the cheese was rubbery.
