26/05/2026: A fantastic stop on the GR65. A very warm welcome. Excellent meals. Breakfast was also very good, but served a little late compared to other guesthouses (7:30 am). Fellow hikers: don't carry extra water between Aumont and Nasbinals! There are plenty of drinking water fountains along the way!

19/05/2026: Superb hotel! The location is magnificent, surrounded by forests. The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated. The couple who own the establishment are lovely, and the husband even gave us excellent advice for hiking on the GR65. Dinner and breakfast are excellent—ah, the homemade aligot! I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

26/07/2026: We came for dinner tonight, just the two of us, and we weren't disappointed at all. We opted for the set menu, which was very affordable considering the quality of the fresh food and the more than generous portions. We highly recommend it. I ordered a starter, main course, and dessert, but it was more than enough. 🤗

24/05/2026: Delicious pizzas! I'm so glad I stopped at this little restaurant, which isn't very expensive and is well worth a visit. I highly recommend it. We returned today, June 1st, 2022. At this little restaurant, the welcome was just as warm, with a friendly owner who takes the time to check on you to make sure everything is alright. I had a sirloin steak with fries, the size of a plate and about 1 cm thick, and my partner had cod with a side of various small shrimp and fish. All this for an affordable price of €16 for the cod and €17 for the sirloin steak. With a drink, no dessert, and coffee, the bill came to €42. I will gladly return. I returned to Au Coin du Feu today, February 4th, 2024. After several visits, I can add to my review by saying that if you're looking for a family atmosphere, this is definitely the place. The Charlotte pictured is the owner Karim's daughter, and the other Charlotte is also there. who works with them and her grandmother this whole little group is always ready to please you as much as possible I recommend booking if you want to come on the weekend because many regulars come often and the restaurant only seats 30 Each week the restaurant offers specials, for example today it's Moules frites (mussels and fries) for 18 euros, reservation required of course You can of course order other things too last week it was couscous In the photos you'll see there's a fireplace, it works but only when it's cool, it's not just for decoration If you have a baby, they are also welcome. Charlotte also has a lovely little one and therefore the necessary equipment is available There you go! It's up to you to judge and I think you'll have a good time with this family team
