18/04/2026: For the past five years, a visit to Porto Rio has been a must for us. On our way to Brittany from the Black Forest, we make a conscious effort to stop there twice a year – and each time it feels like coming home. What always impresses us is the incredible quality of the food. Every dish is perfectly prepared, with meticulous attention to detail and a flair for flavor that is truly rare. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with passion. The service and atmosphere are just as special. Warm, attentive, and yet pleasantly relaxed – exactly the kind of hospitality you hope for. The owner now recognizes us every time, and this small, personal gesture means so much to us. It's this feeling of loyalty and appreciation that makes Porto Rio so unique for us. Every visit is a highlight of our trip and definitely ranks among the most wonderful culinary experiences we've ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant – for us, it's undoubtedly one of the best we know.

10/05/2026: Everything is home made, which is amazing. But, what I loved about their tartiflette is that the potatoes are sliced really thin instead of the normal cubs so each bite is flavorful and crispy.

07/06/2026: Late bookings accepted! The food is absolutely top-notch! A warm welcome, very professional and friendly service! The setting on the Cotinière harbor is also a highlight! The food is an absolute delight! Refined presentation, generous portions. Everything homemade!!! A true delight! The homemade infused rums are excellent, and they offer great advice on which flavors to choose! Fresh and delicious fish. I highly recommend this restaurant for both its cuisine and its friendly service!

11/04/2026: Very disappointed with my order from the McDonald's drive-thru in Salaise. No sauce, not even for the salad, and no cutlery. We ordered two Minute Maids, but we got two iced teas (we didn't like them). Anyway...

11/04/2026: Visit on April 10, 2026: As usual, I checked my order and realized that many things were missing (they very often forget things... I'm still waiting for a salad that was promised to me as compensation at least two years ago)... it turns out they had made a mistake with my order despite me handing them the phone with the online order number... When I asked them to hurry up and told them I was fed up with their numerous mistakes... a person I believe to be the manager came at least four times to reprimand me, saying I was being disrespectful... this insistence felt like harassment in front of my daughter... he finally told me not to come back to the McDonald's in Salaise... Congratulations on the quality of service and the welcome

07/06/2026: I agree with some of the comments that highlight the lack of flavor in the drinks; indeed, the homemade iced tea and the Purple latte were bland. The waitress, however, was very nice.

28/05/2026: A little disappointed, as the drinks and tapas we wanted were no longer available. We therefore had to order other things. The food was good, even though it was served well before the drinks. It's a shame because the setting and the servers were pleasant.

26/05/2026: The Chimichuri tartare was excellent (high-quality meat, hand-cut, served at the perfect temperature, and well-seasoned). The service was friendly, quick, and efficient—professionals with a keen eye. Thank you.

10/04/2026: The service was good, the location was nice, and the prices were quite reasonable. However, the fries were overcooked (personal opinion), the 200/300g ribeye steak was closer to 200g than 300g, the Roquefort sauce was incredibly bland, which is a shame for an extra-charge sauce, but above all, serving beef tartare with sauces in tubes like at a kebab shop is a bit of a letdown. So yes, it was okay, it did the job, but nothing more.
