25/05/2026: Excellent and served with such friendly smiles! Everything was delicious: the platter of marinated fresh vegetables, the artichokes were amazing, and the parillada was incredibly tempting. Moretti on tap :)) and a marshmallow after a limoncello baba, yum! We'll be back soon!

23/05/2026: A very pleasant dining experience in a restaurant with gastronomic ambitions and classic decor. The €41 set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was excellent (the foie gras could have been a bit more generous, a special mention for the ravioli with its green crab bisque; the amuse-bouche was very enjoyable). Professional service. In short, a lovely evening.

17/05/2026: A lovely little meal to end our stay at Center Parcs, which also served as a birthday celebration. From appetizer to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Generous portions with a distinctly homemade feel. The service was friendly and welcoming, culminating in a visit from the chef at the end of the meal. Thank you for this delightful interlude. 16/05/2026: What a disappointment… the ratings are excellent, the reviews too… I went in without hesitation! The starter and main course were excellent, with fresh and well-prepared ingredients… but the dessert, what a letdown! The profiteroles were incredibly dry, the whipped cream was store-bought, the ice cream was low-quality, the chocolate éclair pastry was completely dry… in short, nothing like the beginning of the meal! Either the pastry chef was sick and it came from Metro, or the pastries were several days old… but I was extremely disappointed!

15/05/2026: Passing through Châteaudun, this restaurant is a must-try. Excellent food and good value for money. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. A pleasant surprise; I recommend it for its vibrant flavors.

13/06/2026: The food was fine. Nothing to write home about, but fine. The service was sub-par. We asked for a second bottle of water and never got it, so we had to get up and ask for one ourselves. It also took a long time for anyone to come take our orders after we were seated.

02/06/2026: A wonderful discovery during a meal with friends. The dishes are refined, 100% homemade with great skill. The fish, meat, and pasta were all absolutely delicious. The meal ended with a superb homemade dessert. Thank you also for the warm welcome and excellent service. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to others.

15/05/2026: The SPRAT sardines served as an appetizer are imported. A shame, considering the other local products the restaurant highlights. We were served a small portion of far breton (a Breton flan) for two slices, which included two prunes each. The oysters were excellent, no complaints.

30/05/2026: We had a lovely evening last night. The host and owner is super friendly, caring and attentive. The mango lassi was so fresh - the best I’ve ever had. The chappati also was so fresh and flavorful. We ordered chicken tikka masala, palak paneer(a little different as the paneer is different in France but very flavorful), aloo gobhi and dal and raita- liked the flavors. Loved the onion bhajiya - very home made taste and not filled with soda and hard to digest ingredients. Recommend coming!

06/06/2026: We were very well received; they gave us some bricks (pastries) while we waited and included more in our order. The kebabs were very good! Generous portions.

02/06/2026: We came for lunch today as a couple, without the children. We had a lovely time. We received a very warm welcome from two ladies. The service was perfect. We opted for the €35 set menu, which included a starter, main course, and dessert, an aperitif each, and a carafe of wine. It came to €100 for two. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this restaurant in Saint-Gilles!

18/05/2026: We had an excellent lunch at this restaurant, which is already delightful thanks to its warm atmosphere and very pretty, understated, elegant decor. Luckily we had made a reservation because the restaurant was full on this Ascension Friday. All the dishes delighted our palates, and their presentation was enticing.

30/05/2026: stopped for a simple lunch after a long cycle, smoked duck highlight of a charcuterie board of cheese and meats, great service and will be back for a more comprehensive makan.

25/05/2026: Beautiful waterfalls, especially at this time of year. For the more adventurous, it's possible to hike up to the stunning Lake Gaube (moderate difficulty hike), or take the gondola and chairlift. This lake is definitely worth the trip.
