21/03/2026: We ordered two vegetarian burgers, neither of which contained patties. So it was more like a sandwich. When we asked if there were any patties, they just repeated what was already in the burger. Perhaps that was due to the language barrier. It's probably a tasty sandwich, but without a patty, it's not a burger.

21/03/2026: The veggie burger was simply served without a patty. Very questionable. Not recommended for vegetarians. Very disrespectful...

09/03/2026: Unfortunately, our host wasn't in the mood today. A real shame, as our experience the previous week was very pleasant, this one was not. Yet, there weren't many of us braving the weather to reach the terrace of this cabin, which, fortunately, isn't alone in its domain.

12/02/2026: I went there with my best friend. I'd never been before, but we wanted to try it out. It was incredible! We weren't disappointed at all. We loved everything: appetizer, main course, and dessert. There were so many delicious flavors. We know we booked a table a bit late, but the restaurant still kindly accommodated us, so I'm very grateful. I had a wonderful time. The servers were pleasant, kind, and respectful. I understood what it's like to work in the restaurant industry because, as a waitress myself, I completely understand their job. Plus, I managed to get my best friend to try some wines, knowing she's a picky eater. I highly recommend this restaurant. We received a warm welcome. Thank you to the chefs, pastry chefs, and servers! Thank you all for working so hard while others are resting. I wish you a good evening and all the best for the future! 💗

21/03/2026: A wonderful discovery and, importantly, a team experienced in gluten-free cooking! Delicious, hot, and gluten-free dishes that can be enjoyed even by those with celiac disease. I highly recommend it.

08/02/2026: I went back to L'Embuscade today with my husband, who isn't (yet!) vegan, because we loved it last time, and we adored it again. And, SURPRISE, Chef Phoebe Amalia Dunn was there—welcoming, smiling, and wonderful! I admire her for her creativity, her values, and her humanity. Going vegan is easy with a restaurant like this! Plus, the prices are very reasonable: €25 each for a shared starter, a delicious plantain burger, a sublime chocolate orange cream, lemonade, and beer. Thank you, Chef! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

12/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this refined establishment with its view of the beautiful Sillon beach and Fort National. The cuisine was excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients. We tried the Glaz white wine from Domaine des Longues Vignes, located nearby. It was a bit young at the moment, but we'll definitely try it again later. The service was professional and very attentive. We highly recommend it.

18/02/2026: A fantastic meal for the saint's day. Honestly, we'll come back to try it on other days, as it seems to be a very high-quality restaurant. Exceptional value for money. But we'll have to see if this is the case with the daily menus.
