01/09/2026: Croissants are incredibly delicious: good butter and super crispy. I would prefer the latte a little hotter. Nice atmosphere. It was fine for me that I was sitting here on a quiet morning, but I can imagine it's fun here when it's busy! They play cool music. A nice combination like that with the sunny morning. ❤️

12/08/2026: This is a wonderful discovery. Excellent cuisine, fresh ingredients. Beautiful location, very little traffic. Very good value for money for brunch. My only complaint is the extra €3 for the hot chocolate.

30/08/2026: It's a huge YES! 👏🏻 Having been regulars under the previous owner, we decided to give it another go. It's a classic Marseilles pizza, made with cheese, anchovies, and a half-and-half topping, plus the added bonus of Italian sausage and mozzarella. Fresh ingredients, generous amounts of cheese (Emmental and mozzarella), and expertly cooked in a wood-fired oven make this place a serious contender and a real challenge to the established giants in the city, which is fantastic. Special mention goes to the locally made pili pili, which is also excellent 🌶️❤️ We'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

22/09/2026: A nice pizzeria by the city wall, with a good outdoor seating area. The pizza was good, the tarte flambée delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. We were lucky; reservations are recommended.

18/03/2026: What a disappointment! We had dinner with friends at this restaurant, which we know very well, having celebrated New Year's Eve there many times and having eaten lunch and dinner there on numerous occasions. We hadn't been back for about a year. The change was drastic: the food was tasteless, and the presentation was extremely basic. As for the service, it was nothing like what we had experienced before. The waitress displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. The restaurant is very expensive for what it offers; I absolutely do not recommend it.

28/08/2026: A little disappointed. Our dishes weren't bad, but we didn't leave feeling particularly impressed. The burger—or rather, the pastry, since it was far from a burger—was served with potatoes, but the whole thing was quite dry. It would have been nice to have a small sauce (Roquefort or chive cream to stay on theme) in a small ramekin on the side, and especially to offer a side dish of half potatoes and half mixed greens (lamb's lettuce or watercress) with a good vinaigrette. A touch of greenery would have balanced the dish. The same goes for the steak tartare. A small addition of sprouted seeds, like alfalfa or pickled cabbage, would have complemented the Asian marinade of the beef. In short, it lacked greens! 😆 As for the service, you can tell they're understaffed. It was a bit slow, even though the desire to do well was there. As for the setting, La Crouzette remains La Crouzette, it is always very pleasant with shaded tables nestled among the trees.

26/08/2026: A small restaurant in a splendid setting, under the olive trees, with simple yet refined cuisine... and there you have it, a lovely evening. Having just reopened 3 months ago, the team gave us a very warm welcome... a little gem! We enjoyed a plate of small bites (accras, kromeski, tempura...), a sea bream tartare with pea purée, and a pistachio tiramisu/peach pavlova... excellent value for money!

14/09/2026: Beautiful location, conveniently location along the TMB route. We did not sleep there and I can't comment on the food. We intended to eat lunch there, but arrived at 11:30. When I walked in to ask about a menu, I was rudely told by the woman who runs the place that they don't serve lunch until noon and I would have to leave. I walked out to the area outside, with some pleasant-looking covered tables, and considered staying, but time is of the essence when you are worried about encountering a surprise storm or making it to the next refuge before dinner is over. The woman stepped out and served some drinks to a group who was waiting at the tables. I would have appreciated being told that drinks were available, rather than only told I had to wait until noon. Just then, she turned to us and asked, "Well? Are you going to stay?" At that point, we decided we would rather eat our power bars for lunch that spend the time waiting for this unpleasant woman to serve us some food. So we left. She was the only rude woman we encountered during our entire time along the TMB.

06/09/2026: Here, you never eat the same thing twice. The menu is constantly evolving, dictated by inspiration and a rejection of routine. At Tempilenti, tucked away discreetly at a right angle to Rue de la Roquette, everything exudes authenticity. From the moment you step inside, the place establishes its signature: raw, honest, substantial, a rare integrity. It's the sublime, earthy essence of Italy that welcomes you with open arms. Two women masterfully lead the way: one at the piano, the other in the dining room. No showboating, but an unfailing rhythm and a generosity that immediately strikes you. That evening, nothing was planned. We were simply returning from the park, she on her bike, I on my scooter, when a sudden impulse swept away our plans for staying in. An impromptu turn, and there we were, standing before this vast, still-peaceful terrace. The welcome was straightforward and warm: three seats available. But the first chills of early September draw us into the dining room, a delightful jumble of vintage charm where the eye is drawn to the objects and one immediately feels at home. The opening course sets the tone. Shared between mother and daughter, the vitello tonnato borders on perfection: silky veal coated in a rich, remarkably balanced sauce. Opposite, my tartare breaks the mold, enhanced by a vibrant sauce and the delicate crunch of its almonds. To complement the meal, the wine list reveals some impressive ambitions. While we encounter some great Barolos, our budgetary sense leads us to a Montepulciano around thirty euros, which proves to be a masterstroke: structured, round, supported by lively tannins and just the right touch that awakens the taste buds without overwhelming the palate. Between the starter and the main course, time stretches out a little. Far from being irritating, this deliberate pacing sharpens the appetite. This leisurely pace is the absolute guarantee of cuisine made to order, where nothing waits under a cloche. You can feel the love for simple things, for ingredients sourced with passion, chosen with relish before being perfectly combined. Then comes the unanimous choice: ravioli with truffle and chanterelle mushrooms. The aroma rises before the first bite, carried by a reduced, rich sauce of breathtaking depth. The succulent, plump mushrooms converse beautifully with the delicate pasta and the earthy caress of the truffle. A generous dish that sweeps everything before it. The downside of such generous portions is that they leave no room for dessert: hunger capitulates. Yet, out of the corner of my eye, my gaze lingered on the neighboring tables with a touch of envy. I watched as a slice of magnificent gorgonzola paraded by, proud in its bearing, its marbling seemingly begging to be paired with a good loaf of bread for a truly divine experience. Following in its wake sat a masterful tiramisu, into which one longed to plunge a daring spoon. But satiety held sway. Resisting temptation leaves the door ajar. The bill, around forty euros per person for such a feast, accompanied by elegant wines, is perfectly reasonable. We left completely satisfied, with only one certainty: we must return.

07/09/2026: EXCEPTIONAL!!! A happy accident! A simple yet effective daily special, but above all, perfectly seasoned—a rare find—and at an affordable price. Service that respected our pace, with good humor and a smile, which is sadly becoming increasingly rare in our region. Don't miss Le Papillon in Ollioules at lunchtime. Well done to the team! Cyntia

28/08/2026: We arrived in Ollioules around 1:30 pm, just as several restaurants had already closed… and what a delightful surprise it was to walk through the door of Le Papillon! 🦋 Behind the unassuming exterior of a small neighborhood bar lies absolutely delicious home-style cooking. The chef works wonders: butcher's carpaccio, homemade lasagna, a superb composed salad with fried zucchini blossoms… Everything was fresh, generous, and bursting with flavor. 😍 And then there's her famous chocolate fondant, the chef's signature dish, which everyone asks for! She's given it a twist with "Fonckie," an incredible combination of chocolate fondant and cookie dough… a real treat. 🍫🍪 From start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, with the added bonus of lovely servers and a truly warm welcome. A place we discovered completely by chance… but one we'll definitely be returning to! ❤️

27/08/2026: The worst, but oh my goodness, finally an excellent pide! I had to leave a review. I even got it delivered 20km from their place, and the fries were hot. The pide dough is like Italian pizza dough with semolina—it's insane! I highly recommend it.

13/09/2026: This casino clearly needs a serious facelift and, in my opinion, doesn't live up to the image and prestige of Le Touquet. The roulette chairs are particularly dilapidated, and the roulette camera wasn't working, forcing players to move around to see the results. The carpet was also dirty, and the whole place deserves better maintenance. I also understood that the casino has a restaurant. However, given the lack of space, the restaurant tables are positioned directly in the casino area. From an aesthetic and visual point of view, this layout is inappropriate and detracts from the overall ambiance. More generally, the casino's atmosphere gives more the impression of being in a fairground than in an establishment befitting the expected standard in Le Touquet, especially with machines that seem well past their prime. A renovation, an upgrade of the equipment, and a rethinking of the layout would, in my opinion, be absolutely necessary.

29/07/2026: A nice hotel in a beautiful and facinating area. Good pool and an amazing restaurant for dinner. Service was great in the restaurant and reception too. Unfortunately we faced a really rude lady in the breakfast room. She made us feel like we were for some reason not good enogh to visit her hotelbreakfast. The woman left us feeling strange and for that reason we had to take on star away from this otherwise lovely and beautiful hotel…

02/06/2026: We have stayed here before, the hotel is lovely in a fantastic location. However, this time we just had dinner. They've reduced the menu, and it's not as good. Happily the staff are still attentive and friendly. The location by the river, where you can enjoy drinks on the lawn, is perfect. Please Mercure: review your menu.
