24/05/2026: The restaurant is very pretty and well-decorated. The staff is very kind, smiling, and helpful. However, our opinion is very mixed regarding the takeout service. We ordered three salads. After a good 30-minute wait, we received three small cardboard boxes and salad wrapped in aluminum foil. Surprising... The same goes for the carafe of wine, which was served in a plastic container. The portions were small... and there was no dressing in the chicken salad. There were no cutlery or napkins either... Despite these few negative points, the quality is still there, with fresh ingredients.

01/05/2026: Superb back terrace, lovely decor, and incredibly welcoming staff. The food is delicious; the fried wontons and beef loc lac are probably the best I've ever had. A great find and one I highly recommend. I'll be back!

02/05/2026: I got the impression they were serving regulars first. The wait was endless, so we left without dessert (no time). A shame, otherwise there wasn't much to say. It was still pretty decent.

31/05/2026: A huge disappointment. The food wasn't fresh: the oysters were all dry, the appetizers were bland and tasteless. Nothing was up to par. Even the mojitos were disappointing: the mint inside was black, they were completely unappetizing, and at €10 a cocktail, you'd expect much better. A truly disappointing experience. We won't be back. The price is exorbitant, and the quality is absolutely lacking.

04/03/2026: It's too expensive, really expensive for the 15th arrondissement of Paris. A single set meal costs €59, and the meat quality is nowhere near as good as Japanese or even Korean yakiniku—a world of difference. I suggest that anyone who has been to Japan (or even just tried all-you-can-eat yakiniku in Taiwan) shouldn't have the same expectations. Treat it as a new experience in France, so you won't be disappointed. A basic bottle of red wine costs over €30, which is really expensive. In short, the price isn't the main issue; it's about being worth the cost. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't give me that feeling. I'm giving it three stars because of the staff's service and the shredded cabbage appetizer.

03/02/2026: The best yakiniku! I'm a Japanese person living abroad, and I've been to many restaurants looking for Japanese yakiniku, but I've never had such a perfect experience as this one. It was so delicious, I was so happy I almost cried. The staff and chef were friendly and had such a great atmosphere, it was the best dinner ever. I was lucky to be able to sit here for just an hour on the last day of my New Year's holiday trip to Paris. Thank you so much to everyone at the restaurant.

08/05/2026: I'm updating my previous review because I've been coming to La Table du Lamen for years and have always loved it. It used to be a real gem for me: I especially adored the pork rib soup with thick noodles. The homemade pasta was delicious, and the flavors felt authentic, generous, and comforting. I also appreciated the restaurant's friendly atmosphere, the efficient service, the wide selection of dishes, and the fact that they once allowed me to bring my dog ​​in, which I greatly valued. It's precisely because I loved this restaurant so much that my last visit was such a disappointment. I came with friends to whom I had enthusiastically recommended it, but this time the experience didn't live up to my memories at all. We felt that the portions weren't as generous as they used to be. The chicken noodle soup was rather bland, with fatty bits that my friend didn't like. The spare rib soup, which used to be my favorite dish, seemed much less flavorful than before: less aromatic, less substantial, and overall less comforting. We also ordered a chicken and vegetable stew for €16. For the price, we found it expensive for what it was: little meat, a weak chicken flavor, a lot of fat, lots of celery, cilantro, and vegetables, but a disappointing overall balance. The most regrettable point was that one of my friends felt unwell after the spare rib soup and ended up vomiting. I can't say for sure what caused it, but it obviously significantly impacted our experience. I'm genuinely sad to write this, as I've had some truly excellent experiences here in the past. I used to recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it in the same way. I hope it was just an off day or a bad time of year, but we left very disappointed after this visit. I sincerely hope it was just an off day, because I used to love this place. But unfortunately, on this particular visit, the value for money and the flavors were no longer up to the standard I had experienced before.

24/05/2026: On our last visit to Aix-en-Provence, we happened to walk past Riad. Since we'd already been to Morocco and really enjoy the cuisine there, we were delighted to find Riad. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was presented without any care, the meat was fatty, everything was cut far too large, and the meat was so tough it was almost impossible to cut. It was also barely seasoned and had little to do with Moroccan cuisine as we know it from Morocco itself. The menu had also seen better days—worn, greasy, and dirty. We sat outside in a tent, no one offered to hang up our coats, and the service was rather slow and not particularly welcoming. In short—don't be fooled by the awards on the door. We have no idea who awarded them. In our opinion, they are unjustified. Unless you want to eat a lot for relatively little money, then this is the place for you. We value quality over quantity when it comes to food.
