10/08/2026: We came to try the Top Chef menu this evening, and what a wonderful experience! The food was truly excellent, flavorful, and sophisticated. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. However, I did find the portions rather small considering the price of the menu. While the main objective is to have an experience and discover several dishes, some plates seemed a bit light in size. This doesn't detract from the quality of the food at all, which was definitely there! We also had the opportunity to chat with the chef, who took the time to visit each table. In my opinion, this was a real bonus and made the experience even more enjoyable and personal. A truly wonderful discovery, and we're so glad we made it! Thank you for this lovely evening! :)

09/08/2026: While the presence of the Top Chef winner was one of the reasons we came this evening, the exceptional quality of the meal must be emphasized: perfect cooking and an outstanding mastery of flavor combinations. For my first experience with fine dining, the result far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it if you're visiting Lyon and are interested in this kind of experience.

20/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We've been in Laleu for four years, and this was our favorite pizzeria in the area. The change of ownership has been a success! We were worried, but it's even better! There's a wider selection on the menu, including classics like goat cheese and honey, the careful distribution of the toppings makes all the difference, and the crust is perfect. Thomas and his wife are also very friendly. My sister lives just two streets away, and we've definitely become regulars 😉 By the way, it's now easy to reach them by phone, which wasn't the case before. Don't change a thing, we're loyal customers!

Unworthy of this restaurant. To be honest, the one Picard offers with its frozen profiteroles is better... What a shame.

31/07/2026: The vegetarian options were quite disappointing and very limited (1/5), but the service was very good. The prices are rather high. It's a menu that changes regularly, so it shouldn't be this disappointing every time.

13/08/2026: The com thit kho was incredibly creamy! 😍 The pho was good too, but it didn't quite blow me away 🫥 In any case, the place is dog-friendly 🐕 (the staff brought my dog ​​a bowl of water as soon as we sat down. Thank you!)

06/08/2026: It's true that the food is excellent, however the service made us doubt on many occasions if we were ever going to eat. We arrived in the middle of the lunch rush for our 1.30pm reservation and were seated at an unset table. We sat there for about 25 minutes waiting for our orders to be taken, meanwhile the 3 servers sprinted around the very busy restaurant. Finally we flagged one of the servers down to take our order. 20 more minutes go by, still nothing. No drinks, no tableware, no napkin, just us sitting there feeling slightly as if we've been exiled. On two occasions other servers came by asking if we'd ordered already, to which we responded yes. Finally, hope. The server brought out the very delicious-looking pork roll appetiser, only to place it on the table next to us, given to a couple who sat down around halfway through our shunning. By this point tables were turning over and we still didn't even have spoons on the table. We flagged down the waiter and asked if everything was okay. She went to the kitchen and came back looking very confused, and then returned to ask us to repeat our order not once, but twice. Finally our appetiser arrived, which was delicious, and then cue another 30 minute wait. The tables beside us have come and gone. We again asked if everything was okay with our order, and the response was yes. We were quite literally gathering up our things to give up when they rushed out our mains. Again, I must stress the actual food was delicious. I just hope that our confused meal was a one-off due to the chaos of an admittedly busy lunch service, as it really detracted from our experience. Nearly 2 hours at a restaurant where the average dining time seemed less than an hour.

08/08/2026: Typical welcome from a French innkeeper in a medium-sized provincial town. They refuse to serve you even though half the tables are empty. Go eat at Les Gros Ventres instead.

30/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in Brive. The blind tasting menu included an amuse-bouche, two starters, a main course, dessert, and wine pairing: fantastic! (see photos). The service was young and energetic. Good value for money, I think. Very pleasant setting. I highly recommend this restaurant.
