14/08/2026: We had not just a good time, but a truly excellent time. The daily special was superb, the steak tartare was to die for, and the fries and homemade mayo were delicious. The owners are incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from the North of France. Simple, friendly, this brasserie is a real gem! See you soon, Virginie and Dédé, we'll be back with great pleasure.

06/08/2026: Excellent, whether you eat in or take away. The best Luc Lac beef I've ever had. I also recommend the ravioli, the Bobun, or the crispy ginger chicken.

30/07/2026: Okay, I don't like karaoke when I eat, but the food is very good, even excellent! Never disappointed, except when there's music playing, but that's because I'm not a fan.

24/09/2026: This small restaurant in the historic city center is very welcoming. We had oysters, beef cheek in cider sauce, veal Milanese, and strawberry soup for dessert. Everything was very well prepared, flavorful, and full of deliciousness. The waitresses and the chef were lovely and gave us great recommendations.

04/09/2026: The staff are really friendly. Thank you for your hospitality and good food. During my stay in Paris, I visited 3 times with my family. The barbecue menu is especially good. The portion is generous (250g) and the quality and taste are excellent. This is a restaurant I want to come back to when I come back to Paris. It's the same taste I had in Korea. Top of the top korea restaurant in paris.

14/02/2026: Very disappointed with our Valentine's Day meal. We were having drinks, and our main course was served very quickly. The red meat was cooked even though I had asked for it well-done. I ordered a small salad with my meat, a flaky, plain salad that cost me €3. The staff were very friendly. But the cooking was disgusting...avoid at all costs!

21/09/2026: Excellent kebab, the meat was slightly spicy and dry. I ordered the mixed wrap with an extra wrap, which made a roll as big as four hands stacked on top of each other. Very generous and delicious!

04/09/2026: Second time at this restaurant. The duck confit is truly excellent, as are the homemade fries. Quick and friendly service. Good value for money. I recommend it.

08/09/2026: A brief moment out of time. When I was planning my week's vacation in Seine-et-Marne, and more specifically my visit to Barbizon, I had initially chosen a different restaurant. Unusually, I checked the reviews for that establishment. The poor quality of service was mentioned several times... So I looked for another and came across Le Gaulois. There, the reviews were glowing about the hospitality. So I decided to eat at Le Gaulois. After my experience, I'm very happy with my choice. I had a truly relaxing time there, which greatly enhanced my well-being for the day. I was first greeted by a woman of rare beauty, elegance, and grace. Smiling and gentle, I realized that she was probably the one I had texted when I made my reservation. I smiled afterward because the three young men serving and working the bar also looked like they'd stepped out of a modeling agency! Helpful and smiling without ever being obsequious, they took excellent care of me throughout my meal. I had lunch in a small, covered courtyard, which was also particularly charming. The eggs meurette were excellent, the beef fillet exceptionally tender, and the homemade fries perfectly complemented the rest of the meal. The floating island dessert with its crème anglaise completed this complete success. I hope to return before I leave; it all depends on some acquaintances I need to meet before my departure. Thank you to the chef and the entire team.

05/09/2026: Appalling service. It's hard to even call this place a restaurant—that's what they present themselves as, after all. The waitress speaks to customers as if I'd walked into her house at midnight and was disturbing her. No respect, no basic courtesy whatsoever. I've never encountered such terrible service anywhere in the world. If you want to ruin your day, you've come to the right place.

14/09/2026: Really good sushi: we had the tataki roll and the Broadway roll 🍣 I thought the beef and onion roll was a little less good, though (because there was a lot of rice for the amount of meat).
