The owners are so incredibly sweet, and i have had the best pizzas at this restaurant, and i have had pizzas in italy before!! Please trust me and go have the meal here, the family of the restaurant is sweetest.

14/09/2026: We returned after a year, somewhat reluctantly on my part given previous experiences, but when something is good, it's worth mentioning: we thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. Each dish was carefully prepared and executed to perfection. Thank you for this superb culinary experience. This is why we go to Michelin-starred restaurants; I was often disappointed by Tête d'Oie last year, but this time it was perfect, bravo!

07/09/2026: Having the restaurant open with the menu displayed outside in the street while the owner appears to be eating with his family and then saying there's no availability—I've never seen anything like it. In that case, you don't leave the menu board outside or the restaurant door wide open. It's a complete lack of respect; it's not worth the trip at all.

I realized after paying that the burger, fries, and drink had been charged separately instead of being included in a meal deal, resulting in a higher bill than expected. When I went back to the register to ask for an explanation and a refund, I was met with a very unpleasant response, with no attempt at self-reflection. Furthermore, the drinks I received weren't even the ones we had ordered. Mistakes can happen, but this lack of professionalism and respect is unacceptable. I do not recommend this establishment.

26/09/2026: We had an exceptional experience celebrating our anniversary here. The food, hospitality, and ambiance were extraordinary and made our evening truly special. Kudos to Chef Christian Morisset and his team for this gem of a restaurant. We highly recommend getting a reservation if you’re in Antibes and appreciate fine dining.

24/09/2026: We ordered the €18 drink formula, which included a glass of wine, half a bottle of water, and a coffee, but we were only served the wine—no one ever offered us water or coffee. We only realized this after we had paid and left. When we returned, they offered us €5 back, saying the wine alone was €13. When we said we expected at least the value of the missing water and coffee—which are listed as €2 and €9 on the menu—their response was completely unreasonable. Since the mistake was on their side, they should have fully refunded the missing items rather than charging us full price for the wine! What’s worse, we were asked whether we were going to accept the €5 or not with a very unpleasant attitude. Mistakes happen, and forgetting the water and coffee would not have bothered us nearly as much as the dismissive way the situation was handled. Very disappointing service recovery, especially for a Michelin-starred restaurant.

27/09/2026: Friday evening we went to dinner at this restaurant without knowing it was recommended. A very pleasant surprise! Everything was homemade, from the lemon mussels, a real delight, accompanied by super tasty fries—fluffy and not greasy—to the excellent lemon dessert. I highly recommend it. Two lovely young women

14/09/2026: We're regulars! Ever since Gaëlle's time! I book a week in advance for 10 people, asking to be seated wherever we wanted. We arrive, and we're not seated where I wanted. I didn't say anything! We came back a second time, and the same thing happened!!!! So I don't think that's nice, especially when you book a week, even 10 days in advance, and you're a regular with 10 people! I wanted to say it was better when Gaëlle was there; the atmosphere was better. The waitresses were fantastic and very attentive. What a shame that Gaëlle is no longer running Ilot Bar. She was amazing and especially attentive to her customers. She created a great atmosphere and knew how to seat them exactly where we wanted. Gaëlle was a remarkable professional! The new manager is completely unprofessional! She should find another job! I hope she won't be running L'Effet Mer in December!!

11/09/2026: I’m a regular customer and always have a great experience. The food is very good, the staff are friendly, and the service is always fast. My only suggestion would be to use a little less rice in the sushi, as there’s quite a lot compared to other sushi places. Otherwise, everything is great!
