29/09/2026: Had a delicious meal. Fresh trout and ratatouille. Excellent wine. On the plate, there was only the fish and a small pot of ratatouille. A bit bare.

26/09/2026: 0/5 but we have to give at least one star! The servers didn't know the menu or the prices. We were the first to arrive in the entire restaurant and had simply ordered a measly sharing platter. After a 35-minute wait, while two tables that arrived after us had already been served hot meals, and after twice telling the server we were still waiting, we finally decided to get up to pay and leave. And that's when the plate arrived… We politely refused it, and then they treated us like idiots: "You have to pay downstairs!" then "Oh no, you have to pay upstairs…" Finally, the waitress even asked us how much we owed. In short, after paying, we left, saying goodbye. Of the three waitresses present, only one responded to us, with a smile. Even the manager who had greeted us offered no apology, no gesture of goodwill, nothing at all. We truly felt we were treated with particular contempt. I sincerely hope that this treatment had absolutely nothing to do with our slightly dark skin tone? In any case, a very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and reception. We will not be returning.

04/09/2026: These Greek mezze were delicious; I loved the tarama, the eggplant caviar, and the little cheese and honey croquettes whose name I've forgotten. The chocolate mousse with olive oil for dessert was incredible (very rich!). The waiter was very friendly, which is worth mentioning! In short, a good experience (apart from the rather uncomfortable chairs on the terrace).

07/08/2026: I was lucky enough to win the Instagram contest and return to this restaurant for a second time, and once again, I wasn't disappointed! Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. Special mention to the servers Adrien and Garance, who are super friendly! I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

19/09/2026: The gnocchi were very good, though I was quite disappointed that there was no appetizer to share and no cheese option (which is a shame since I don't like sweets). Otherwise, the staff were friendly and we ate well. After all, we're in the Old Port area; those who complain about the noise should go somewhere else.

17/09/2026: The food was good. However, I would have liked homemade french fries with the meat. The boullabais was also good. I would recommend it but I think there are better alternatives.

09/10/2026: I usually eat at the Subway near the cinema and have always had a good experience until tonight, October 9, 2026. We were served by a young brunette woman whose attitude was particularly unpleasant. No smile, no politeness, a cold welcome, and a frankly unfriendly demeanor. It's a shame, because the staff's behavior greatly impacts the customer experience, and honestly, it doesn't even make me want to come back. Until now, the staff had been very pleasant and welcoming. It's therefore all the more disappointing to see such a change. We come to eat and have a good time, not to feel like we're bothering them. A very bad experience, which unfortunately tarnishes the image I had of this establishment. I hope the quality of service will return to its usual level.

08/10/2026: A very bad experience at this Subway. The person who greeted me was extremely haughty and unpleasant. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality, no friendliness, and above all, an attitude that clearly gave the impression of not wanting to do their job properly. I can understand that someone might be tired or having a bad day, but that's no reason to treat customers this way. When you work in retail and food service, the bare minimum is to be professional and respectful. I'm rarely so disappointed by a customer, but this attitude was truly unacceptable. I do not recommend this establishment if the service remains at this level.

30/08/2026: I ate what was surely the best cordon bleu with Comté cheese I've ever tasted there; it was absolutely perfect, and there was a generous portion too! Bravo!

25/09/2026: This was our first time at this establishment. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. We will definitely return.

24/09/2026: We chose La Cave du Salut for its appealing menu and reasonable prices. It was a weekday dinner for two. The welcome was friendly, and we chose our dishes on the touchscreen outside the restaurant—a nice touch, and you can even see the dishes. Alternatively, they bring you a tablet to choose at your table. We had a seafood platter for two, which was very good. Then we had a seafood stew for two, also a real treat. We were tempted by the crêpe menu! We couldn't resist a pablito and a benedine, which I asked for not flambéed. Both were delicious. Just a heads-up, we ordered à la carte. They do offer set menus, but if you choose this option, be aware that it's not available after 8 pm. You can come without hesitation; I'd be surprised if you were disappointed.

25/08/2026: The food was great, lots of veggie/ vegan options which was lovely - some of the best falafel i've ever had! Portions were huge, most dishes were to share so go with multiple people. Drinks were nice and service was very good! Was busy so definitely book a reservation. Absolutely recommend.

19/08/2026: Attentive service, great food (the sharing plates are an amazing idea for a family meal). Excellent choice for vegetarians. Not cheap but really tasty and out of the ordinary.

29/09/2026: We wandered in after the rampart walk; all the food was excellent (seafood pasta, scallopine, steak) and the staff was lovely

25/09/2026: Maybe we just picked an off day, but lunch wasn't great: the "gourmet salad" had large chunks of potato at the bottom of the plate and two pieces of goat cheese on sliced ​​bread, and that was it! All for €16.... The andouille gratin: lots and lots of potato at the bottom of the dish and a tiny slice of andouille sausage on top, with a lot of melted cheese to try and hide it all! Perhaps you should focus on the pizzas! Try COTE & SAVEUR a little earlier!

01/09/2026: I can't rate the rooms but the cafe is well located with a nice outdoor mostly covered area to enjoy a drink and relax in a typically French brasserie. I have not eaten here for a while so cannot comment on that aspect. It can get a bit "smokey" as the outside area allows smoking which is a shame. Service is good and served with a smile.
