02/04/2026: The guy at reception at 9 pm (not at the bar, but where they sell tobacco and scratch cards) was incredibly unpleasant. He didn't even let me finish my sentence, just told me "NO" even though I was greeting him cheerfully. He's what I call an energy vampire. You had a bad day, so you behaved terribly.

24/09/2026: Annoyed is the best way to describe the staffs approach to service. Our simple questions were met with curt responses. There seemed to be a sense that they can’t wait for customers to leave so they can fleece the next table. Overpriced food that is mediocre, bland and sloppily prepared. Asked for tap water along with our champagne and were served and charged 6.50 for an already open bottle of Evian(was it tap?). 43.00 for a tiny beef filet and overcooked vegetables with cold wet fries. The galette was a sloppy mess. This place is a real disappointment. They have a captive audience from tourists and it shows in their service, pricing, and menu. We wanted to like it - it’s a great location - but we won’t be back and you should not go.

21/09/2026: Person who seated us wasn't particularly friendly; she just pointed to a table. The duck I had was OK, but my wife was unimpressed withe small serving of sea bass. Atmosphere seemed a little stuffy.

14/09/2026: We relied on previous reviews to celebrate a special occasion. It was very crowded, and the waitresses were clearly exhausted. Our table was right next to the bar, so two of us couldn't enjoy the otherwise very pleasant setting. Three of the foie gras dishes were acidic, and we were disappointed with the quality of the duck breasts, which were well-cooked but rather tough. The desserts, however, were exceptional. But for €43, especially at lunchtime, we expected better.

14/09/2026: The service doesn't live up to the setting. The wait was far too long, the water pitcher was forgotten upon arrival, and we had to wait patiently for it when we asked... Avoid the cheese board... The terrace is, of course, superb! It's a shame the rest doesn't live up to it...

15/09/2026: We arrived as a group of 7 people... We had to wait quite a while in the blazing sun. We asked the person to open the parasol for us. The person told us to wait 2 minutes... Following this, when we went to place our order and asked again for the parasol to be opened, the charming lady showed us her hands and replied that she only had 2 hands...

27/09/2026: This has been our go-to spot for a few years now...whether it's mussels, fish, or seafood, everything is fresh and well-prepared at very reasonable prices. The terrace is lovely. Add to that the attentive waiters Max and his sidekick, what more could you ask for?

14/09/2026: Passing through, we stopped somewhat by chance at the terrace of Le Pilori. The daily special was very good, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. I recommend this establishment.

18/09/2026: We ordered the summer salads and desserts. Everything was delicious, and the waiter was very pleasant. We had a wonderful time.

15/09/2026: A very good meat platter; the tartar sauce was good, but the other sauces didn't complement the meat offered. The beef bourguignon was a tad too salty, even though the sauce was delicious. I ordered a cocktail that was far too sweet and full of raspberry seeds 😵‍💫 I asked for more wine, but they added lemon instead. The waiter also forgot to offer us bread with our platter, but that's because they were out of it 😅 Otherwise, a peaceful setting under the parasols. I'll definitely go back to have a fire pit; I can't wait! 😋

29/09/2026: We had a wonderful meal at Café de l’Agriculture! The portions were generous and all the staff were kind and attentive. We felt truly welcome. A great place we'll gladly return to!

21/09/2026: Honestly, a fantastic find! Barely a 2-minute wait, a truly warm welcome, and above all, very pleasant staff. A major plus: the server knows how to adapt their vocabulary and manner of speaking to each person, which is a real bonus and makes the experience much more enjoyable. The atmosphere is truly family-friendly and welcoming. The chairs are comfortable, the tables are clean, the fresh water is replenished as soon as it runs out, and the bread is very good and regularly replenished as well. And in terms of value for money, it's hard to beat: starter + main course + dessert in just 30 minutes for €18. I almost ate faster than at a fast-food restaurant, but with real quality on the plate! I absolutely loved it from start to finish: Gizzard salad as a starter: truly excellent Bavette steak: cooked to perfection Chocolate mousse: incredible And above all, the taste truly reminded me of eating at my parents' house: simple, generous, and delicious. Special mention to the waiter who was incredibly patient with a rather demanding colleague 😂, while remaining helpful, pleasant, and very funny throughout the entire meal. A place I will definitely return to. Well done to the whole team!

14/07/2026: If I had known they would put me in a dirty, under-construction room, I would have never booked this place. To make matters worse, they only inform you *after* you check in that there are absolutely no cancellations allowed. It feels like a trap to lock you into a 4-night stay once you see how bad the accommodations actually are. The Room: I wasn't even in the actual chateau; they put me in a stuffy, under-construction annex building. The carpets were filthy and looked at least 20 years old. The AC: The air conditioning made a loud, disruptive shooting noise all night, making it impossible to sleep. The Service: I had to ask twice over two days just to get anyone to look at the broken AC. They have no concept of customer service. Like some other reviewers mentioned about the customer service of the staff, smiling is optional. The Restaurant: The only saving grace. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is decent. The rooms are worse than a cheap motel for a huge price, and the management's policy and attitude are not friendly. Do not book this place.
