05/09/2026: The veggie burger was super good, the meal deal was cheap (burger + fries + drink €12!), and the fries were amazing! I highly recommend it, never disappointed!!!

26/02/2026: A dining room with seating for about thirty. Always satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food. Coraline, the smiling and professional waitress, has been there for several years and works perfectly with the chef. And it shows in the dining room! Always served on a hot plate, a detail that is much appreciated. Excellent value for money, so don't hesitate (by booking in advance...). A few photos: An exceptional meal for Valentine's Day 2022: Chicken ravioli with morel sauce, Rossini beef fillet (extra) with almond potatoes, chocolate and caramel dessert, all accompanied by a superb Lerouge champagne. The result: an exceptional memory. Alternatively, a "normal meal": Landes salad with foie gras, crispy Camembert with honey and walnuts, cod in an almond crust with citrus sauce, a beautiful ribeye steak with Périgord sauce and three vegetables, and to finish, a very good gourmet coffee or a homemade mille-feuille.

25/07/2026: The restaurant is for sale and was closed when we were there on Saturday around 8 PM.

03/07/2026: This establishment has been permanently closed since the end of June 2026. It's a shame, this little pizzeria was very good. I wish the former owners all the best and thank them for all the good times we had thanks to them.

23/09/2026: Very friendly welcome. Excellent food (the chicken muffin was amazing!). Very affordable price: starter/main course/dessert/coffee for €16.90. (You don't often see that price for a starter/main course/dessert anymore.) I'll definitely keep Soualou in mind for my next trip to the region.

10/09/2026: I arrived without really knowing what I wanted; I was feeling really sick and in a bad mood. When I arrived, I was greeted with a huge smile and such good cheer that I wanted to come back… The gentleman asked me several times if I liked the combination or if I wanted to change it. He was attentive to each of my requests, and everything was respected. I think it was his wife sitting further away; she's super nice too. A really, really great find! :)

25/08/2026: As a regular morning customer, I find it unpleasant to hear the sales assistants complaining about their colleagues, their manager, and the customers… right there in the dining area, during service (even while serving customers… help!), or shouting from the preparation room to the sales floor… totally disrespectful. And what about the young woman serving at lunchtime who had the nerve to breathe on customers, puffing out her cheeks, and then reply, "I do what I want"? In short, the quality is average but typical of a chain restaurant; the service is best avoided. Go a kilometer away; there are much better options right next door.

25/09/2026: We were looking for a truly authentic, quiet, and non-touristy spot in the center of Paris where we could enjoy good wine and sample some traditional French cheeses. Wandering through the city's neighborhoods, we found this beautiful place, which turned out to be a real discovery. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. We ordered two assorted cheese platters and tasted two fabulous Burgundy wines. A truly pleasant and authentic experience. Highly recommended!

20/09/2026: The welcome and service are excellent. They truly understand customer service! They have a small private room available, and the manager is very accommodating and creative with ideas to suggest for different events. I organized my son's birthday party there with his friends, complete with a theme and workshops, and it was very well organized! I will definitely organize other events there.

18/08/2026: A really great restaurant, ideal for families or groups of friends. A calm atmosphere. It's excellent value for money: generous portions, high quality, and above all, inexpensive. I highly recommend it (especially their tiramisu ;) )

28/09/2026: Very disappointing, especially for someone who has known the place for several years. We used to always receive a warm welcome, with smiles and delicious food. Today, it's clear that the experience is completely different. This is the third time we've been poorly received: no smiles, an interminable wait, prices increasing, portions decreasing, and to top it all off, our table wasn't even cleaned. Today, we were also served last, after we had already been seated, following the arrival of new foreign customers. It's hard not to feel that tourists are now valued more than locals. We left with the distinct impression that the establishment has become a real tourist trap, at the expense of the quality of the welcome and service. It's a shame, because we really loved this place. But after three bad experiences, this will definitely be our last visit. Avoid if you are looking for a warm welcome and top-notch service.

26/09/2026: The setting is superb, however, the service leaves much to be desired. The waiter had the nerve to say "I've helped myself" when bringing the change. He's rude to customers, belittling them at every opportunity and making remarks loudly so everyone can hear. A child dropped a glass on the terrace opposite the café/restaurant, and the waiter involved pointed it out, speaking loudly enough to be heard over the village noise, drawing everyone's attention to the scene.

14/09/2026: The setting is nice but the portions aren't very generous, we all left feeling hungry... a shame for a table of 12 people...

Don't expect haute cuisine, that's not the concept here... but if you're looking for a unique and beautiful place, original, generous, and very tasty food, and a friendly welcome, you won't be disappointed! All this for a very reasonable price. Thank you for this lovely time, we'll be back!

14/07/2026: While staying in Nantes, lacking other options, we ended up at this bakery for lunch. The sandwiches, quiches, desserts… everything was delicious and inexpensive. It's so refreshing to find a bakery that goes the extra mile to offer sandwiches made with fresh ingredients. We returned the next day and would have come back even more often if we'd stayed in the city longer.
