19/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel for a birthday party held there. What can I say... First, let's start with the reception. The welcome was disastrous, with poorly trained and unfriendly staff, unworthy of an Accor hotel. There was an endless queue just to get our room key, which, on top of everything else, had already been paid for that very morning. I was also outraged to see that, both on arrival and departure, the staff tried to charge me for breakfasts I never received! Pay close attention to the bill or you risk being ripped off! Secondly, the room. We were very disappointed considering the price we paid and the standard we expected from an Accor establishment. The room was clearly outdated, with dated decor and amenities that desperately need updating. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent: we could hear conversations from neighboring rooms and doors slamming all the way down the hall at the end of the floor, making for a particularly unpleasant night. As for the bathroom, it was very disappointing, with amenities more suited to a campsite than a hotel of this category. Overall, the value for money is far from justified by the prices charged. Finally, the most disappointing aspect was the organization of my mother's birthday party, for which a private room and catering service had been reserved. Given the services charged and the establishment's claimed level of service, the result was simply disastrous. The charcuterie boards ordered as an extra were particularly meager and of poor quality, far below what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The hot dishes were served in small cardboard bowls, giving an extremely low-end and neglected impression. Furthermore, corkage fees were charged even though no real service was provided: bottles remained empty on the tables without being replaced or refilled, wine wasn't served to the guests, and the Prosecco service was also woefully inadequate. This gives the impression of paying for services that, in reality, were never actually delivered. Perhaps the most incomprehensible aspect is the complete lack of attention to detail surrounding the event itself: it was a birthday party that had been clearly announced and organized in advance, yet not a single candle was provided for the cake. This detail may seem trivial, but it perfectly illustrates the lack of preparation and consideration we felt throughout the evening. Finally, despite all the organization put in place and the numerous exchanges beforehand, my mother never even met the hotel's event manager or the catering manager, which is particularly surprising and unprofessional for this type of event. Avoid at all costs!!!

19/05/2026: A very friendly hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. Gianni, in particular, who served us at breakfast, provided excellent service with his professional expertise and extensive experience. He was always attentive and warm, and he also lovingly looked after the children. This made us feel very welcome every morning. The room, service, and location were also very good. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

04/06/2026: A lovely little restaurant with traditional cuisine. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The staff is exceptionally friendly. They presented us with the current menu on a large chalkboard at our table and explained all the dishes in English. All our questions were answered readily. The food was of very high quality and tasted absolutely delicious! The prices are also very fair. Very child-friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant as a family and will certainly return.

14/05/2026: The Cité de Carcassonne is a must-see every time I travel through the south of France. And if there's one thing you absolutely shouldn't miss, it's the fabulous Bastille Day fireworks display. I must have been back at least ten times, and the effect is always the same: majestic. The illuminated ramparts, the explosions that set the whole citadel ablaze, the atmosphere in the city… there's something truly unique about it. Even a simple two-hour break during a road trip is enough to be blown away by the sights. On the way to the Abbey of Saint-Martin du Canigou, it's the kind of stop that transforms a journey into a lasting memory. 500 meters before the paid parking lots, on the hill before descending into the citadel, a strip along the edge allows you to park for free. 5, 6 cars max.

02/05/2026: If you go to Casa Nostra and don't eat there… you've clearly missed out. One of the best culinary experiences I've had in Les Deux Alpes. Everything is there: 100% homemade cuisine, refined and generous, quality ingredients, and above all, a true identity on the plate. You can tell that each dish is carefully considered, crafted, and executed with precision. Special mention for the service: a warm welcome, an ultra-professional team, and a friendly atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours.

01/05/2026: It was absolutely delicious! The dish was a bit pricey (€35) but totally worth it. It was one of my best dinners ever! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this restaurant.

29/05/2026: A premium welcome for Corsicans, but for the French, you'll have to come back another time (or maybe not...). No special attention whatsoever, despite a reservation for a birthday. A completely overwhelmed waitress who didn't know her menu and, what's more, criticized what we ordered ("that's for the French..."). She practically threw the appetizers onto the table. Seeing a 4-5 cm cockroach inside the restaurant, we decided to change tables and move to the terrace, which irritated the waitress. The digestif (in this case, myrtle liqueur) is only offered if you're a local, so put on your best accent to earn one... The meal itself was fine, the dishes were good. Ultimately, the value for money isn't there; there are better options elsewhere in Ajaccio. We usually go to other restaurants of the same standard; we wanted a change, and it was a mistake. We really felt a difference in treatment between the "locals" and others... let's remember, however, that the chef is English and he does a very good job.

09/06/2026: We chose to eat inside, but there is a large outside area. Small, friendly atmosphere. Staff / owner smiling and efficient. Limited menu, a big plus for us! We both chose the vol au vent, which were delicious and filling. So we shared a dessert, that was enough for lunch. Well worth a visit!
