21/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is typical of a traditional Lyonnais bistro, with tasteful decor, walls covered in a patchwork of paintings, signs, posters, advertising panels, agricultural awards, and more... very welcoming. Friendly service and a warm welcome. A truly delicious experience! It's recommended to come hungry because the menu and dishes are generous! Don't be afraid to mop up the sauce! Having tasted the eggs meurette (a perfectly executed sauce, not at all sour, clearly made with a good wine!), the beef with morel sauce (smooth and fragrant), and the gnaffron with St. Marcellin cheese on my neighbor's plate, I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! They're incredibly generous when you order the rum baba: a giant bottle is brought to your table with an equally giant pipette, and you pour yourself the desired amount! Reservations are always recommended as it's very popular, thanks to word-of-mouth! And it's well deserved!

07/05/2026: Absolutely delicious!! We went on May 1st and they seemed very busy, but the service was excellent and very pleasant. The food was fantastic, and the price was very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!! ☀️

14/04/2026: My wife and I were delighted to discover this lovely restaurant. We received a warm welcome from Philippe and Karo, who were incredibly attentive to their customers. The diverse and varied menu offers something to please every palate. Furthermore, the service was outstanding. We will gladly return to this establishment, which lived up to our expectations, especially to enjoy the terrace.

13/05/2026: Excellent express dinner! We were served very quickly, which is exactly what we wanted! The falafels were delicious, and the cheeseburger and Japanese-style chicken were devoured! The bread on the table was very good!

16/04/2026: We came with friends to celebrate our reunion over lunch and had a wonderful time. The staff was attentive, the sommelier knowledgeable, and the chef enthusiastic. The menu is original, the flavors are vibrant, and the ideas are flowing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, all at a reasonable price, including the fine wines for aging. Go for it! :-)

08/06/2026: A limited menu is already a good sign. The food is entirely homemade and delicious 😋, from fish rillettes to fish and chips (with excellent tartar sauce) and beef tartare with pesto (original). The portions are generous. The service is attentive and, best of all, dogs 🐕 are welcome 😁.

29/05/2026: Standard dishes, nothing exceptional; the main course portion was the size of a starter (and we're not big eaters). The quantity has decreased, the price has gone up. However, the service was good.

A truly delightful experience for both the eyes and the palate. For the past two years, since we had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant, we have been consistently pleasantly surprised and delighted. Thank you to the chef and his team.

02/05/2026: A message I just sent to the Michelin Guide: Hello, I rarely do this, but it's worth it. There's a restaurant, the Auberge du Château de Clermont, in Clermont-en-Genevois, that we discovered a few weeks ago. This restaurant is truly worth a visit, both for the welcome and the cuisine. Everything is just right, exceptionally good, flavorful, and quite inventive. In particular, the spelt with a Scarmoza mousse and a smoked egg yolk, or the langoustine tournedos with a bold, precise, and perfectly executed shellfish coulis. In short, a delight! The service by Sophie is attentive and meticulous… the chef is very friendly, and Sophie is efficient and cheerful. We left delighted and with stars in our eyes, one of which they richly deserve.

02/05/2026: With its warm and friendly welcome, this place invites you to linger. The menu is also appealing. We opted for couscous, and we weren't disappointed. The portion was generous and delicious, the semolina light, the vegetables in their broth excellent, and the meat of very high quality. Special thanks to the lady in the kitchen. A big thank you for this delightful experience. This establishment, which is a bit of a hidden gem, is well worth the detour. I highly recommend it.

19/05/2026: A perfect 5/5 for this wonderful discovery! Unbeatable value for money, the ingredients are fresh and impeccably sourced from local producers. The beef cheek was perfectly seasoned and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Every dish was served with a little something extra that elevated it; we loved it! The service was also fantastic; the waiter was very attentive. It's a shame we're not from the area; we would gladly return often.
