23/05/2026: I have mixed feelings about La Tonnelle's cuisine; while generous portions are sometimes offered, the flavor combinations are unexpected and not necessarily to everyone's taste. For example, the mixed fish platter was changed without any prior notice, neither on the menu (depending on availability) nor by the waitress. Otherwise, the setting on the port is pleasant, and the waitress was excellent.
22/05/2026: The dishes were beautifully presented, and the homemade foie gras was excellent. High-quality cuisine at reasonable prices. A must-try, especially with the view of the harbor.

15/05/2026: The setting is magnificent. The vaulted stone room and the peaceful terrace give the place a lot of charm.
The staff are welcoming, smiling, and attentive.
As for the food, everything was delicious.

I really wanted to leave this review. The atmosphere is great, you feel right at home, the welcome is very warm, the food is excellent, the shisha is good, nothing to complain about.

05/06/2026: Every time I come, it's like the first time. I love this restaurant because it's always so good... Focaccia 🍕 Pizza, lemonade, impeccable.
The servers are fantastic, the food is wonderful... and its location in Croix-Rousse makes it perfect for a little stroll after eating.
I highly recommend this place; it transports you to Italy!
I'll be back soon to try the daily special (a set menu) which makes you want to eat everything!

04/04/2026: Great experience! We chose this restaurant because we had a show right next door at the Hippolyte-Derouet theater.
We were short on time and were served very quickly upon request. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was good and clearly homemade. They paid great attention to detail. The restaurant was full by 7:30 pm, which is definitely a very good sign.
If I had to offer any criticism, the dining room could use a warmer decor. Definitely worth a try!
