24/09/2026: This is a fantastic restaurant!!! We loved everything about it! The atmosphere was great, the music wasn’t loud at all so we could hear each other and speak. It wasn’t too dark either.. and the food was just perfect!!! 🤩 This is a family restaurant, the service was excellent, they speak English well so we felt comfortable. We highly recommended this place.

24/09/2026: Down a quiet street, near the busy canal we found this small, friendly and authentic restaurant. The service by Valentin was outstanding and our meals were so good we returned the next night. He was attentive to my wife’s gluten free needs and she felt reassured. We had escargots, carpaccio of shrimp, sea bass, duck, octopus and steak- all were excellent. Highly recommend this place - if we lived here we’d be regulars!

10/09/2026: We had a delicious meal on the not-too-large terrace. On the first evening, we ordered the ‘assiete de partage’. A variety of tasty dishes to share. After two evenings, we decided to go back after all. We had ‘salade de poulpes’, which was a surprise. We have never eaten squid like this before! And just to be sure, the ‘rougail saucisses’. What an amazing sauce!

11/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience at Wedja! The setting is absolutely beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The noodles were excellent, and the desserts were just as delicious. A special thank you to Bara, our server, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. The service was truly excellent! We had such a great time and would definitely recommend this place. We would happily come back!

23/09/2026: This place fully deserves its excellent reviews, not a big selection, but what there is, then it’s absolutely lovely food. I have never tasted such a good chicken salad before and the lady serving was excellent. Even the local dog who I let try some chicken had to be dragged away as he was waving for more. Delightful place and will visit when I come back to Avignon again.

02/10/2026: One evening I went to eat at this restaurant. I received a warm welcome, was quickly seated, and my order was taken promptly. I enjoyed a very pleasant Marguerite white beer (from a Parisian brewery in the 17th arrondissement), a delicious steak tartare, and a good tiramisu too (although my wife's is better) 😁. The young woman who served and took our orders was very efficient, and in the end, the price was very reasonable. The ambiance and noise level were just right, but it's worth noting that with the lovely weather, everything was open... In any case, I'll be back.
