06/08/2026: We ate at this establishment for the first time. The setting is pleasant, the terrace nice. The owners are friendly. We ordered a Flemish carbonnade; the fries were good, but the sauce was acidic, and there were no bacon bits (it was a pre-made sauce, in my opinion). The meat wasn't great either. A shame... We'll have to try it next time.

11/07/2026: I've ordered takeout from this restaurant several times, and the quality is always excellent. The dishes are delicious, generous, well-prepared, and always ready on time. The service is warm and the staff is very friendly. It's a real pleasure to order from here, and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend it!

Great, wouldn't it have been more honest to say that when we ordered? 👍🏼 EDIT: Thanks for your reply, chat gpt 😑 The problem isn't paying the right price; you clearly saw that I said I'd take the menu while pointing at the chalkboard... just say so directly or remove the chalkboard.

30/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Thonon-les-Bains! The place is really lovely and we had a fantastic meal. We tried the oyster salad and the beef fillet: everything was delicious, with expertly prepared ingredients and generous portions. The desserts, a bit unusual, were also very good. The prices are reasonable; a great place that we highly recommend!

04/09/2026: I ordered a salad for €18 and received it an hour later, only half empty. When I called the manager, he explained that it wasn't his fault, that it was another restaurant. I told him I'm a loyal customer, and of course, he just hung up on me without offering any solution. The service is shameful.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the €21 lunch menu, which was very tempting and expertly prepared with excellent fresh, homemade ingredients, from appetizer to dessert. Excellent value for money. The setting is very pleasant, the service attentive and friendly; we highly recommend it! We will be back to explore the à la carte menu, which made our mouths water just by looking at it.

06/09/2026: We made a reservation in August for four people, but unfortunately, our reservation wasn't honored, which can happen... The person who greeted us was rude and basically told us to go somewhere else. We've never been treated so badly in a restaurant. I asked to speak to management, and they found a solution immediately, for which we are very grateful. Unfortunately, we were seated under a pergola despite the rain, and we were with some very elderly people. We enjoyed the food and the restaurant's decor, but the service was deplorable. Message to management: change your waiter.

30/06/2026: We went to the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and flavorful. Excellent value for money. The welcome and service were top-notch. We enjoyed mussels marinière, filet mignon, and razor clams (rarely seen on menus). A very good place to eat.

30/08/2026: We were really disappointed. We came on a recommendation. Most of the menu items were processed or frozen; it's more of a snack bar than a restaurant. We would have preferred fewer choices but fresh or cooked dishes. Honorable mention, however, for the warm welcome and attentive service. The ambiance and presentation of the dishes were excellent. It's a shame everything is there except the most important thing: the food itself. Note: We didn't try them, but the charcuterie boards looked appetizing.
